馬亞哈伯勒內塔魯別墅(Taru Villas Maia - Habarana)

Ein kleines stylisches und traumhaftes Boutiquehotel, in welchem wir drei Nächte verbringen durften. Die luxuriösen Zimmer sind riesig und sehr sauber. Der große Pool, den wir manchmal sogar für uns alleine hatten, lädt zum Verweilen ein (mit etwas Glück kann man dort sogar wildlebende Pfauen beobachten). Die Mahlzeiten sind sehr lecker und hübsch angerichtet (unbedingt auch das Sri Lanka Curry und den Nachtisch Curd probieren). Was die Hotelanlage für uns ganz besonders machte, war das fantastische Personal. Nirgends auf unserer 2 wöchigen Rundreise haben wir so ein liebenswertes und fürsorgliches Personal (vom Gartenteam bis hin zum Manager und ganz besonders die weibliche Bedienung im Restaurant, deren Namen wir leider nicht mehr wissen) erlebt. Auch der Koch war fantastsisch: er erkundigte sich stets persönlich bei seinen Gästen und wollte sogar eigens für mich eine Avocado zum Frühstück besorgen (obwohl gerade keine Saison war). Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben und hoffen auf ein Wiedersehen im nächsten Jahr. Liebes Taru Maia Team, Ihr seid spitze!

From the point of arrival to departure we were greeted with smiles. All the staff made us feel so much at home. The property is stunning too, in a down to earth way, sitting framed by lush paddy fields. The whole place is inspired by the likes of Sigiriya. Food was great , excellent choice and the F&B staff were the best. They treated us with such warmth and attended to our requests with big smiles. Perfect place for those looking for down to earth luxuries and a peaceful calm small boutique property. Taru Villas where ever they may be are highly recommended.

Struttura fantastica, personale gentilissimo e disponibile e cibo eccezionale, consilgliatissimo. Sembra di essere in un Safari. Noi purtroppo non abbiamo usufruito di tutti i servizi in quanto stavamo facendo un tour e uscivamo mattina e facevamo ritorno per cena.

If you ever wanted a tranquil get away from the hustle bustle and be pampered like you owned the world... I must say Taru Villas Maia has to be at the top of that list.. the serene surroundings... the nature embracing the wild.... smell of nature...Staff trained to make you feel special every step of the way..... just devine! Taru villas Maia is such a unique get away, it has inspired me and my husband to develop a similar get away south of Sri Lanka... such is serenity... such is the beauty and the culinary masterclass they have created... the food was amazing.. the chalets were classy ... the long walkways in silence added to the peace and tranquility you yearn... The paddy fields completed the back drop of Taru villas Maia with the experience incomplete if you didn't get on the outrigger canoes (Oruwa as it is known in Sri Lanka)..... You can't miss it!

We chose this hotel as a base for our visit to Sigiriya during our 2 night stay in the region. Easy to find on a main road 1.5km from Habanara main street, check in was very friendly and efficient. Our room (No. 2) was amazing in every aspect. A very large, tastefully decorated room with balcony/terrace. Full tea and coffee making facility, including a small fridge. Large double bed was very comfortable. Our package included breakfast and evening meal, both of which are served in the restaurant area 2 mins walk from most of the rooms. Swimming pool is fabulous, with waiter service, if needed. Staff are excellent and super friendly. Highly recommended!

Best hotel room we’ve had. Beautiful location and property and awesome food, really well adjusted to my wife’s gluten intolerance. the employees really care and go above and beyond. Absolutely great! Well done and keep it up. Only 2 small pieces of advice for the management because I know you care about it: 1. Increase number of towels in the rooms, 1 per day is not enough in the outside bathroom because things stay moisty 2. Do room service when guests are at breakfast. We often were out of the room several hours in a row and then the room wasn’t cleaned yet. It then had to be cleaned when we wanted to be in it. Apart from that 10/10!

We have just had four nights stay at Taru Villas Maia. It was wonderful in every way. Every previous review on this property is 100% accurate. It is a truly special place. We really didn't want to leave! From the property itself, beautifully decorated and super equipped bedrooms to every member of staff and delicious food, our stay was truly special. A particular mention too, to the Restaurant Manager Deepal who made every breakfast and dinner so lovely.
