This is one rare gem of a place and an experience that you must add to your list on your trip to the Andamans. I stayed here for one night yesterday (6th to 7th of February 2024). As I had to take a few work meetings during the afternoon, having a good WiFi was my top priority. I was pleasantly surprised when I was getting better and uninterrupted internet than the hotels in Port Blair. If you want all the top amenities and yet escape the bustling city life, I have no higher recommendation and praise than here. I learned that this is a family-owned resort who have gone through great difficulties to make it what it is today. When you stay here, you’d definitely agree that they have put a lot of effort into making the place amazing for guests. The food here is of top quality and taste too. Please make sure to have a conversation with Mrs. Jessy, the propreitor, who might probably be one of the kindest humans you will meet on your trip. I had to travel onward to Rangat this morning and they ensured I get a place to stay in Rangat as well, and also ensured that I get a bus in the morning. Mrs. Jessy was personally there to see me off this morning. All the staff are locals who are very well trained and are extremely kind. There is a sense of joy and satisfaction when you support local businesses, and they pay you back with kindess and love, which I definitely felt here. It is a shame that I got to stay here only for one day. I will definitely come back in the future to stay here for a longer duration. I recommend staying here 20/10 to anyone who is planning a trip to the Andaman Islands. I sincerely and wholeheartedly thank Mrs. Jessy and all the staff who made this a memorable stay!

Most tourists zip through Baratang on a day trip. I highly recommend staying for a couple of days. The Dew Dale run by Jessy D'Cruz is the perfect place to learn about and explore Baratang. She is helpful and connected us with her local contacts, who took care of showing us the highlights (and the cab hired via her was VFM).

We, a group of 6, stayed here for a night. The resort is on NH4 from Baratang to Diglipur. While the highway is a real mess, the resort itself is good. They have cottage rooms. The rooms are clean, the staff is lovely and hospitable. The owner, Jessy, stays on the resort and is easily approachable for any assistance. The food is reasonably priced and the quality & taste of food is very good. Overall Dew Dale is a nice place to stay.

We had booked this room in this resort through Agoda. We had travelled earlier to Diglipur and hence wanted to rest in the evening at Baratang before visiting the lime caves next day and thereafter back to Port Blair. The check in was smooth with staff greeting us with smile. The room alloted was spic and span with a large bathroom, and aircondition. They have a restaurant and serve complimentary breakfast.. The location is serene and it was unfortunate that we could explore the place due to time constraints. We met the resort owner (Ms Jessy D'Cruz) who and her team were more than willing to entertain our needs All in all a nice experience, also those tourists who do not want to get up very early for the first convoy to baratang can book this resort and take the next convoy for lime caves also those travelling back to Port Blair from diglipur can get get welcome respite by booking the rooms in this resort

We had a great vacation stay in Dew Dale resort. We absolutely loved the food, it was delicious.I would really like to mention that the staff was very courteous and gives you a real feeling of authenticity. It was great experience to me . I have really enjoyed the peaceful unique ambience. Recommended for people staying in metro city looking for stay with nature. Staff is very helpful & rooms were clean.
