Hytte Camp Nordkapp - BaseCamp

In Cod do we trust - it says outside the restaurant…in this restaurant do I trust for a gorgeous Cod. Well priced, good portion, served nicely hot and delicious as caught right there and then…not frozen fish…search all Norways west coast for a good Cod meal…and hidden behind Nordkapp point is this little gem. The house, deco and furnishings are simple and clean and the focus is on the great tasting food - right where it should be. Absolutely love it. Staff were pleasant and humble. A definite YES

GIUDIZIO PERSONALE Bello per location, direttamente alla base del trek per kirkeporten – bungalow da 6 posti letto (2 letti a castello matrimonuiali + 1 camere con letto a castello singolo) Area comune ampia per poter cenare anche in 1 (stretti ma ampia) bagni comodi seppur piccoli, non lenzuola e asciugamani solo a pagamento) possibilità di usufruire del bar e ristorante (per fino alle 21.00) ma l’area comune dispone di tavolini per gruppi ampi (oltre 10 pax), bagni disponibili e sempre aperti, pulizia e vista lago, un’ottima struttura per i prezzi modici VOTO GLOBALE 6 1/2

We arrived late but the owner was still at the campsite. We asked if we could sleep here with our tent, but no, they were closed he said! So, we neither could or wanted to stay the night here - rather go somewhere else where you are welcome, even if the owner is not there at the moment.

Stayed in one of the cabins. Perfect base camp in small fishing village Skarsvåg, surrounded by natures beauty. Staff was very friendly and the camping area was peaceful. Everything was simple, so all we had to do, was to enjoy the views.
