莫埃利島拉卡小屋旅館

Un piccolo lodge immerso in una rigogliosa vegetazione. La struttura dispone di poco più di una decina di camere che trovano posto all’interno di bungalow in stile tropicale. Stanze comode, spaziose con un piccolo e grazioso patio, tutte si affacciano alla spiaggia privata. Le camere hanno una dotazione di base più che sufficiente considerando dove ci si trova. Curata la spiaggia di sabbia fine con qualche ombrellone e sdraio che si affaccia su una piccola e tranquilla insenatura. C’è anche un belvedere attrezzato su una punta rocciosa dalla quale si ammira un piacevole panorama, si assiste al tramonto, si trascorre la serata in un comodo e ampio gazebo. Il corpo centrale, sempre immerso nel verde molto curato, si trova la reception, il bar e il ristorante. Buona la cucina senza particolari pretese, abbastanza varia, incentrata sul pesce e su prodotti locali. Il personale e l'assistenza sono sempre presenti e offrono supporto e attenzione per qualsiasi esigenza. Attraverso la struttura si organizzano escursioni in mare dallo snorkeling alle immersioni vere e proprie, alla “Caccia alle balene” o alle mante ma nulla toglie di chiedere qualcosa di specifico come è avvenuto nel nostro caso in cui abbiamo voluto fare un giro nelle isole selvagge circostanti, approdando su splendide spiagge di sabbia bianca.

Quand on est les pieds dans l'eau limpide sur une plage de sable blanc bordée de paillotes, on touche au bonheur pur. Merci au Laka lodge pour son accueil chaleureux et si simple dans ce bout de terre sublime qu'est Moheli.

Siamo stati al Laka Lodge dal 18 al 25 agosto, cercavamo un posto tranquillo e immerso nella natura, in cui poter fare delle escursioni e soprattutto lo snorkeling (abbiamo visto anche le Balene, direi un’esperienza unica). Abbiamo trovato la struttura su *********** e abbiamo iniziato a guardare le foto/video della struttura, credetemi già con le foto la nostra mente viaggiava. Il nostro soggiorno è stato meraviglioso, così come lo avevamo immaginato, lo staff è sempre stato super disponibile, infatti, hanno organizzato per noi tutti gli spostamenti necessari per passare da un’isola all’altra. Anche la cucina era ottima (tutti sanno quanto siamo viziati sul cibo), abbiamo mangiato sempre cibo fresco e cucinato con cura. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Jane per la sua dolcezza, Sebastian per le sue capacità relazionali e simpatia, Hans per averci guidato fin dal primo giorno nel nostro viaggio e al nostro nuovo amico Churchill per essere un ragazzo super preparato. We had a great experience at Moheli Laka Lodge! Hans is the owner and helped us out with our travel package. He is a pleasant, honest and helpful man to deal with. They booked and included our Royal Air flight round trip from Moroni - Moheli, which takes away the stress of dealing with it on our end. Chris was one of his deputy manager that took care of us in the island, kudos to all the team at Laka Lodge GROUNDS: Very lush and beautiful, it has that relaxing feel to it. Our favorite thing was at around 4pm when snacks are being served the lemurs will be hanging out by the trees near the parking spots. If the Lemurs are not there just asked one of the restaurant staff for help, they know how to call them. It is such a cool experience, they are so gentle whenthey take the bananas. Rooms: We had the beach bungalow, we can watch the sunset from our bed. Bathrooms are decent and clean. They provide filtered water instead of bottled water which is very ecofriendly and hand made soap ☺️ Activities: They have plenty to offer and prices are fair and affordable. The highlight for us was watching the turtle at night laying eggs and got lucky to see the babies hatching, so Amazing. We hope to be back here again. * the drive from the airport to the lodge is 1hr, one of the most beautiful one hour drive you’ll take you see the water the coastline and the very lush forest! Worth the trip to get here.

What is it like to stay at Laka Lodge? It's pure bliss! What a hidden gem Mohéli is, so unspoilt, green, gorgeous nature and wildlife. And what a beautiful place Laka Lodge is. We spent a week in a beach bungalow and we only wish we could've stayed longer. We've never experienced such great customer care before. That already started when we contacted Hans for more information. He helped us with the reservation of the domestic flights from and to Grande Comore, all the airport transfers and booking 5 tours out of Laka Lodge. Also great advice on the intercontinental flights. Also on site the service is excellent. Laid back island style, but surely excellent. The full board service was exquisite, Xavi an amazing chef. With one of us not eating seafood and being difficult with meat, we had a customised lunch and dinner daily. Fish & meat for hubby, vegetarian for me. All fresh ingredients from the garden and all delicious! Thanks Xavi! The tours we did were really enjoyable as well. We did the village tour, island tour, Itsamia turtle tour, snorkelling and Livingstone Bats. And we were taken to one of the grande marriage wedding activities in the village, that was special! Big shout outs to Houzan and Chris for showing & teaching us so much! We feel like we only discovered the tip of the iceberg, so hope to come back and see more! Also big thanks to Sebastián, mil gracias de verdad por tu buena atención y hospitalidad! Same to all the other team members, you really made our stay extra special. When can we come back? Horrible, horrible experience. I came to Comoros to celebrate my birthday and the Airbnb host I had recommended I stay in this lodge as he knows the owner, Hans. One of the worst mistakes I could make to be honest. Comoros (and especially Moheli) is absolutely gorgeous but my experience was ruined by Hans acting extremely rude, disrespectful and fraudulent. As other reviewers had correctly noted, he tries to accuse the guests of not paying. Then he attempts to scam people by having them pay up front and after, tries to force guests to pay a second time as they are leaving. He really ruined my birthday and I absolutely despise his poor, low level behavior. After he said paying by wire would be fine, he said I must immediately pay with cash and the activities I had planned like nighttime scuba diving, were canceled. He tried to bully me (again as other reviewers noted, check the reviews) and say l won't be able to leave the country and all this other nonsense. Only when I told him I was an attorney who will report his behavior to the local government/ tourism, did he back off and try to be nice. When the driver dropped me off to take my boat back to Moroni, Hans was on the line with him saying I must pay AFTER I already gave the cash. Only after I started raising my voice and told him I wasn't paying two times, did he shut his mouth. Other than the absolutely atrocious management, the lodge is truly subpar. The rooms were not clean and the food was underwhelming but it was the only place you could eat for miles. There was an incident with one of the property dogs where I was walking by and the dog started barking/growling and lunged at me. I fell into the bushes trying to back away from the dog. The only redeeming quality was Churchill who was extremely professional and tried his best to make my stay and birthday enjoyable even after Hans' treacherous behavior. Avoid avoid AVOID.
