Un lieu hors du temps et des vacarmes du monde. Derrière une porte discrète de rue courbée, s'ouvre une bâtisse préservée, décorée dans un faste d'antiquaires, bercée par les seuls bruits de la cours intérieur et où le séjour et les services sont portés par un couple discret et aux petits soins.

The chambre d'hotes is well located for touring the Roman sites of Nimes and an 18-minute walk from the station. It is eclectic, with an interesting layout and exceptional artwork. Welcome friendly. The room is fine, with no TV or kettle and just two hangers, little hanging space anywhere. Bathroom good with large bath. Steep stairs to room which may be a challenge for some. Breakfast very healthy. Overall, probably slightly overpriced but will suit art lovers and those wanting some peace.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Sehr günstig im Stadtzentrum gelegen, um die wunderbare Stadt Nîmes zu besichtigen. Das Zimmer war unserer Meinung nach überladen, wirkte wie ein Brocante-Laden. (u.a.Steinalter Teppich)

Es simplemente una casa de revista. Caímos en esta casa por casualidad, estábamos trabajando de paso por Nimes y nuestra asistente nos lo buscó. Al principio debo reconocer que me extraño y me pareció poco cómodo para visitas de trabajo, pero después de estar 1 noche y disfrutar de la casa (donde viven los propietarios) es del todo recomendable!!!! Jamás he visto tanto buen gusto. Jamás me han tratado con tanto nivel. Matthieu, muchas gracias.

Well this is a tricky review, Location - Not ideal, access off a busy road down the side of a Dominoes pizza - never felt unsafe but I feel it had the potential. Room - Rooms were comfortable & clean also very nice ho have a bath rather than shower. the décor was a bit of an assault on the senses from the stuffed parrot in the WC to the vintage oil paintings & up-cycled furniture but it works , if you've ever been to a emaus then it's like sleeping in one - wonderfully eccentric & french Host - Matt was a very welcoming host & very much the reason that I'm reluctant to criticize. He recommend restaurant always greeted you with a big smile. He alone should be the reason you stay. Breakfast - WOW how he makes any profit with the spread he provides, it's by far the best breakfast we've had anywhere. Check in - now this is where things get tricky, you're given the check in times at booking however there isn't a reception , the door is locked & it's a buzzer system - fine, if you get an answer, that doesn't always happen so can be a bit of a nerve wracking wait outside. Overall I'd recommend but the check in isn't the usual & if youve had a long day then perhaps not what you need

Désolé, cette évaluation ne peut concerner la qualité de l’hébergement car nous avons été au dernier moment empêchés par les grèves d’effectuer ce voyage à Nimes. Elle s’applique au gestionnaire de l’hébergement qui avec une rigidité extrême a refusé toute négociation afin de trouver un arrangement par exemple par un report du paiement même partiel sur d’autres dates. De mauvaise foi évidente, allant même jusqu’à douter de l’annulation de notre train due aux grèves. Il n’a répondu à aucun de nos appels. La Maison Rousseau est peut être de qualité, nous ne le saurons jamais mais son gérant est à nos yeux malséant.
