傑克貝里帳篷營地

Eigentlich hatten wir keinen guten Start, denn wir waren in der Nkasa Lupala Lodge eigentlich gebucht. Wir standen vor verschlossenen Türen, die Lodge war komplett im Bau und nicht nutzbar. Dann sind wir mit Hin und Her im Jackelberry Camp - einige Kilometer entfernt- angekommen für 2 Nächte. Das Camp ist von wunderschöner Natur umgeben- wirklich mitten im Nirgendwo. Herden von Lechwe und Büffel, ist schon besonders. Es gibt nur wenige Zelte, einfach eingerichtet. Und eine kleine mehrstöckige Hauptarea, von der man tolle Aussicht hat auf die Umgebung. Kleiner Pool. Das Frühstück ist prima! Abendessen nicht so gut. Der Gamedrive war schön.

Magnifique lodge au milieu de "nul part". Si vous avez besoin de bruit et d'une bonne connexion wifi: passez votre chemin. Ici on vit au rythme des bruits des animaux, des beaux levés et couchés de soleil. On regarde la magnifique vue depuis les terrasses panoramiques construites autour de l'arbre. C'est un vrai dépaysement dans la brousse. Si vous être en "self-drive", il faut être à l'aise sur les pistes. Il y a environ 20km de pistes de brousses pour y arriver. Mais des petits panneaux "you are doing ok" nous encourage et le petit verre à l'arrivée est le bienvenu. Je ne peux que vous conseiller de faire le "Boat Cruise". ça change des grandes rivières, c'est plus intimiste et on peut observer de belles choses...

Eine tolle Location inmitten eines Nationalparks gelegen. Elefanten laufen durch die Lodge. Sehr schone Zelte, einfach gehalten aber alles dabei. Das Hauptzelt dreistöckig mit schönen Terrassen. Essen absolut top. Sehr angenehmes Personal.

Jackalberry Tentend Camp , cosa chiedere di meglio per una vacanza in Namibia , posto fantastico in mezzo alla natura , non oso immaginare come sarà quando finalmente incomincerà la stagione delle piogge. Mia moglie ed io siamo arrivati alle 3 del pomeriggio affamati e abbiamo chiesto di mangiare qualche cosa e sorpresa ci hanno preparato una spaghettata degna del migliore ristorante Italiano. I pasti sono continuati per i 3 giorni di permanenza con un alto grado di qualità e bontà. La guida che ci ha accompagnati a fare il game drive è stato assolutamente fantastico , alla prima uscita abbiamo visto di tutto e di più ma non i leoni e la nostra guida ci ha detto : sono soddisfatto del mio lavoro di oggi perchè vi ho fatto vedere molti animali , sono dispiaciuto perchè non sono riuscito a farvi vedere i leoni. Praticamente era più dispiaciuto lui di noi . Il giorno dopo si è rifatto alla grande incominciando prima delle 6 del mattino con l'avvistamento di 2 leoni che abbiamo seguito per 1 ora e mezza incontrandone altri , nell'arco di 2 ore abbiamo visto 7 leoni e 2 leonesse , lui vedeva ad occhio nudo anche quello che io facevo fatica a vedere con il binocolo. As soon as we walked into our 'tent' this felt like coming home. Jackalberry and Nkasa Rupara provided exactly the 'safari' experience we were looking for - especially after the sometimes busy and much more developed tourist-filled hot-spots of Etosha. We were the only people staying at Jackalberry for the three nights we were there. From experience elsewhere, I know this can sometimes be awkward! However, Petroh and her team handled it beautifully; friendly, helpful, but understated. We thought the accommodation was excellent; the service was excellent (thank you Owen), the food was excellent (Too much! but the the number of courses was mercifully reduced on request!), and the outlook from the lodge is great. Perhaps some people are less lucky with wildlife sightings than we were, but our guide (Justin) found us lions every day, and even managed to seek out a Sitatunga for me! Jackalberry was in every way exactly what we wanted, and I don't think I have a single negative to report. [My apologies for spelling anyone's name wrong!]

Fabulous place to stay. We stayed here for two nights with our girls aged 20 and 17. Lots to see and do with time to also relax by the infinity pool over looking the river Chobe. Great game drives seeing lots of animals with lots of information given by the drivers. Excellent food and services from all the team at Jackalberry. Thank you for a great stay.
