斯卡利特飯店

This was our 3rd time at this wonderful hotel. When we last visited 3 years ago, the food had been disappointing compared to our first visit! Apparently there’s a relatively new chef. He/she is doing a fantastic job. We had the taster menu on our first night (our anniversary) and it was wonderful. My husband didn’t like the cuttlefish bolognaise but that was just his own personal choice - I loved it as well as all the other dishes. The gazpacho was probably our favourite, it was divine! The second night of our stay we had the standard menu and chose the Cote de boeuf & it was so good, as was the salad & fries to accompany it. We used the indoor pool and the cliff top hot tub during our stay & both were great. We chose a “just right” room which was perfect with fantastic views of the bay. There is a new (huge) property being built right next to the hotel. We didn’t have any noise impact during our stay but it has blocked out some of the view of the bay. We did notice that despite the hotel’s premium pricing, that a few areas of the property were looking a “little tired” - I’m not sure if any maintenance work is imminent but it does need it in areas. The staff were fabulous as always. Housekeeping were on point - our room was always spotless & the turn-down service is always a lovely touch. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash all provided, as is a powerful hairdryer. It’s a very relaxing place to spend a few days & despite the disappointing weather when we were there, we had a lovely stay.

Incredible hotel with the most amazing views and sunsets over the beach. Staff go above and beyond and work so hard to make it the most perfect experience. Breakfast and dinner were amazing, the 7 course taster menu was divine! The natural Reed pool was refreshing and we could always get a lounger outside. The spa treatments were total luxury. The pods looking out to the beach are so relaxing and a great touch. I can’t wait to return one day.
