We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lazy Waves Hotel in Newquay. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so warm and welcoming, always friendly and responsive to our needs. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, spotless, and clearly well cared for, with cleaners coming in every day. Our room had everything we needed, including a huge, comfortable bed, and the views over the sea were simply stunning. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the town centre while still feeling peaceful and overlooking the ocean. Breakfast was a real highlight, with fantastic quality and plenty of choice. On our last day, we had to leave early and were thoughtfully provided with a packed lunch instead, which was such a kind touch. The team even surprised me with a bottle of Prosecco in the room for my birthday and invited us for a drink at the bar, which made the stay feel extra special. Overall, it was a truly relaxing experience, and we would definitely return. Lazy Waves Hotel is a gem in Newquay—highly recommended!

What a fantastic stay at Lazy Waves. Located in the heart of Newquay. We had a beautiful view from our room, great attention to detail and such wonderful hosts. Very close to restaurants, bars etc. Thank you Jayne & Dean for a wonderful stay.

Our room was perfect with a window view over Towan beach. The breakfasts were fantastic. Very friendly hosts, nothing was any trouble for them. We appreciated their recommendations and the e-mail that was received in advance of our visit.

Beautiful modern boutique style guesthouse. Super clean, and well run by the owners. They were extremely nice and helpful. Pretty seaside vibe to this gorgeous home. OYO hotel cancelled our room booking at 3pm an hour before we were to check in for some unforseen issue on their side. Lazy Waves took us in on short notice ...much appreciated Lisa from Dublin

We stayed a week and from the day we arrived to the day we left Jane, Dean and family looked after us really well. Our room was beautiful and the bed so comfortable. Breakfast was out of this world. The location is perfect for anyone wishing to go to the beach, shops and dining out. Also, the bus and railway stations are within easy walking distance. We would have no hesitation in recommending Lazy Waves to anyone wishing to stay in Newquay.

We've just returned from our 2nd stay this year at Lazy Waves and we now can't imagine staying anywhere else! We've stayed in room 9 Superior Sea View and room 5 Bijou Double Sea View. Both were fabulous stays. Yes the bijou room is small but it's very comfortable and has everything you need and the balcony is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the lovely sea views. A stunning property which is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. A great location close to everything. Fabulous quality breakfast - you will not go hungry! Jayne and Dean are such a lovely couple and their hosting is perfect - attentive and friendly but not intrusive. We will be back for sure!
