Fantastic Sunday roast- best we have had out for a long time. Loads of meat, great roast potatoes and fresh veg. Really great value for money. Excellent service , honestly couldn't fault a thing. Big thanks to you and your staff, we will be back soon.

Five of us had a fabulous roast dinner here today. Beef, pork, chicken or nut roast with superbly cooked roast potatoes, a huge selection of vegetables, home made Yorkshire Puddings, stuffing & gravy. We finished our meal with a home made apple crumble and custard. The Waverley was recommended to us, by friends on our visit home from Spain. We won’t hesitate to visit again.

Absolutely fantastic staff and the food was exceptional !! We went on two occasions in the same week as we all thoroughly enjoyed the homemade proper English meals !! Really was a treat ... wanted to take some home for later !

Stayed here to visit Garlic festival. Proprietors so friendly and accommodating. Room bright airy, clean and large with lovely view of nearby church. Breakfast fantastic, fresh produce and plenty of it. Will book again

My friend and I booked the Waverley as a stop over on our ‘ round the island’ ebike tour; Paige was very welcoming and made sure our bikes were stored away safely. Our room had a double bed and a (very comfortable) daybed, with a large en-suite. Lovely view of the castle from the end of the bed! Close to the road, but traffic noise wasn’t noticed and we both slept well. Breakfast was great, and the homemade marmalade delicious!

We have been regular guests at the Waverley Inn over the last few years. Julie, Tim and their team are always very welcoming and helpful and the food is lovely. They recently provided us with afternoon tea for a wake of 40 guests and the spread was delicious and plentiful.
