貝德福德洛奇飯店及水療中心(Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa)

Easily the best hotel I’ve stayed at in the UK. Beautiful grounds, easy access and parking. Friendly and welcoming staff. Room (30) was extremely lovely with bed and pillows to die for. Bedding was high thread count. Super quality picture on tv with Sky channels. Great Molton Brown products, shoe shine cloth, nail file and sewing kit. Nice biscuits, tea pig tea bags, filter coffee with Cafetière , hot chocolate packets and fresh semi skimmed milk and still & spring water in fridge. Safe deposit box, dressing gowns, soft towels. Breakfast was another level - such tasty food which I dream of now I’m home. Would only say if the could ask whether we want toast to come out at the same time as the breakfast that would be better as it didn’t go with fruit, yoghurt, Bircher or cereals - that would be great. You choice your hot breakfast and it’s very special indeed.- Top Notch. Pool quite cold and people hogging the jacuzzi. Steam room below standard & not worth bothering with unfortunately. Changing rooms clean and I would recommend and stay again in a heartbeat. We stayed in Room 30 which I believe is a Superior Twin; Mum stayed in Room 26 which was lovely but you do not have dressing gowns or separate shower cubicle in the level which was a Double. She did have the Molton Brown products, nail file, shoe cloth, shower cap and sewing kit. She also had a great tv with Sky and fab picture quality. We had a Bose machine which you could link your mobile to to play music.

The place itself is fine but the service is a disaster. Don't get me wrong, there are many staff to take your orders but the time fo drinks to arrive was unacceptable. we were sitting outside and asked for a round of drinks, 25 m inutes later we asked if the drinks are coming soon but they said it was busy inside. We went inside and there was one table with a couple of people on it and 4 staff members standing behind the bar talking but no one service our drinks. I wouldn't mind but this is the second year on the trot that this has happened. please can someone give better training to the staff here or at least take control of them.

Service was excellent with many helpful and friendly staff - from reception to the restaurants. Food and drink pricy but very tasty. It was difficult to regulate the room temperature but the bed was comfortable.

Really good staff - couldn’t do enough for us. Nice room and bathroom. Not the most modern/up to date but nice. Nice pool and changing area

We booked this hotel because we saw the pic of the lovely outdoors swimming pool on ********** , but when we arrived there we found out that we have to pay an extra £100 per person per day to be able to access the swimming pool which is the hero image on **********. Instead we had access to the dated indoor pool. We thought this is really misleading.

I live in Newmarket and have always wondered what this hotel was like. It didn't match up to expectations:(

Clean well presented rooms. Friendly staff, food in bar, restaurant was good. great location. Ample parking.

From, start to finish the staff are very welcoming happy to help The food is fantastic and fresh
