Oualie Beach's star feature is the beach and restaurant. The beach is a lovely clean crescent of gray and black sand and gin clear water. The restaurant blends a perfect rum punch and delicious food. I had a lunch of fish tacos which was tasty. My West Indian breakfast was heaven. The salt fish was perfect. My last meal was a fresh fish burger and hand cut fries. Quite memorable. The rum punch at Oualie was one of my favorites. It was similar to a Ti Punch; light brown and a lovely dusting of fresh nutmeg. The casual Caribbean beach vibe makes for a perfect spot. Tuesday night is a big music scene, I am told. I did not partake.

I stayed at oualie beach resort with my partner in March, this was my first visit to Nevis. From arriving to leaving I could not of wished for more. All the staff are so welcoming, friendly and relaxed and went above and beyond. Our chalet was clean and fresh with a really comfy bed and had every we needed. Our view was beautiful looking out to the beach and sea. We ate in the restaurant every day, the food was fantastic and the pancakes are a must. Our holiday was truly amazing and oualie beach resort played a massive part in it. Your entire staff team and beautiful resort are amazing....see you soon. Del and Amanda

The Oualie Beach was perfect for us. We love natural and authentic hotels and these cottages really made our stay special. The staff are genuinely helpful, they share their humour and stories and we enjoyed their service immensely. There are no fences around the perimeter, nothing to spoil the ambience, it is beautifully unspoilt. Our accommodation was absolutely lovely, we loved sitting on the balcony with a breeze blowing through. Our housekeeper Leone made our special event so memorable as she arranged balloons, flowers, tassels and towels in a 60th birthday tribute. She even set the TV to play Happy Birthday. The food was great and I liked the service at the bar. We visited in a group for the Nevis to St Kitts Cross Channel Swim, however I hope to return to Oualie for longer next time.

We loved our stay at Oualie! We were in Nevis for our honeymoon over a decade ago and said one day we would be back to do the Nevis to St. Kitts cross-channel swim. We finally made it! We were upstairs in one of the end units and we could not have been happier. We hope to be back again and stay in the same part of the resort! Oualie resort is very well maintained the the rooms are very clean! I understand some folks may find parts of it dated, but we really enjoyed the cottage feel. We appreciated, the feet clean "buckets" at the bottom of the stairs to help keep our room clean, and enjoyed watching the monkey make their way across the property in the late evenings from the comfort of our lanai chairs. We had several meals on property and everything was very fresh and delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to the large amount of folks who were also in town for the same race. For folks not familiar with the area I would say the restaurant is on island-time, but we didn't mind and found ourselves relaxing for the first time in a long time. Thank you to Oualie and your lovely staff for an amazing trip - we can't wait to come back!

It's a quiet, low-key place, with air-conditioned, nice large rooms. The restaurant is good, moderately priced, but nothing fancy. The staff is friendly and helpful. They organize transfers from St Kitts. The Island tour they booked was very nice. The place does not have a snack-bar and does not have a store where you can buy even an aspirin. The message therapist was absolutely wonderful. Nevis is nice and very quiet. Most of the reviews are accurate, but do not describe any shortcomings if you are used to larger, more fancy resorts.

I recently spent a rejuvenating 7-day yoga and wellbeing retreat at this stunning Caribbean resort, and it exceeded all expectations. Setting & Arrival The resort comprises approximately 36 charming buildings, thoughtfully scattered across the grounds with direct views of the breath-taking water. Arriving by water taxi, I was delighted to find the hotel immediately accessible - no lengthy transfers, just a seamless transition into paradise. Accommodation My room was a serene haven, featuring a grand four-poster bed, a comfortable lounge area, a fridge, a coffee machine, and ample space to unwind. Each morning, drawing back the curtains revealed an awe-inspiring view, with the soft sands mere moments away. The traditional Caribbean architecture throughout the resort added an authentic and beautiful touch to the experience. Dining & Facilities The on-site restaurant offered a varied menu, catering to various tastes with delicious options. The team members I encountered were consistently friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall sense of welcome and relaxation. Two nights a week there is entertainment/music in the restaurant, which was great fun. Overall Experience The tranquil and peaceful setting of the resort provided the perfect backdrop for a week of wellness and reflection. The combination of stunning natural beauty, comfortable accommodations, and attentive service created an unforgettable experience. I have returned home with cherished memories that will last a lifetime and a deep sense of gratitude for the time spent in this Caribbean haven.
