Great location, easy remote operated check in service. Communal area presented well. The lift worked to go upwards from ground to level one, but it wasn’t functioning when we left (downwards function from level one to ground). Room 1 - upon entering had a horrible dirty shoe smell. It has a major shower drainage problem where the fall of the shower floor runs into the room, possibly over time water on the carpet is causing the constant smell. The hand basin drain was also blocked. The renovation was modern, however the wear and tear is now evident. Could do with a bond clean and some maintenance. The ratings could improve easily if maintenance and cleanliness were addressed because the service and location are great.

It did not match the advertisement and was overpriced. It was a dismal room with depressing view of walls and roofs and a patch of sky. The decor was grey and the bed hard. The internet did not work, nor did the extractor fan in the bathroom. A microwave was the only cooking utensil. The only plus was that it was walking distance to everything I needed.

Was under the impression i booked an apartment. Putting a fridge and microwave in a room doesnt make it an apartment. The room was dirty, the bathroom hadnt been cleaned. Dont even get me started on driving around the block for 45 mins trying to find a carpark. No lift at the venue. Aircon kept turning off after 2 hours, Smart TV remote didnt work. Creeky floorboards. The only good thing about itbwas a comfortable bed. Poor instructions on how to gain access to building and worse instructions for getting in to room

Wrong code for the Front entry door was sent to me via SMS. Fortunately, I arrived at 16.30 & somebody was in the communal area and let me in. Apparently, I was the 5th person who has been given a wrong code. What would have happened if I arrived at 10 pm? I would have been locked out and slept on the street? Studio is advertised for 2 people. It would have been a tight squeeze, and nowhere to sit but on the bed. Fortunately, my friend did not come. There was only 1 broken chair in the room (yet the studio is for 2 people) The chair was broken, the lift mechanism did not work and the chair stayed low. It was also dirty. The carpet in the room was stained and could do with a proper clean. TV - no manual provided. It took a while to work out how to get a simple ABC news channel. the other “smart” TV availability could not be logged on because of lack of the manual. Cutlery, plates and bowls provided for 2 but no sharp knife to cut e.g. a tomato or similar.No T.towel, washing up liquid, sponge provided to do wash up. A little wooden box with 4 T-bags and few international coffee sachets, NOT enough for 2 people for 2 days. It was not replenished during my stay Shower - the small hand-held shower head leaks from the hose. There is a big overhead shower head, but not usable if you don’t want to wet your hair. Microwave in the fridge is a bonus, so is the little fridge. Bed linen clean & crispy, so were the towels.

We enjoy the location , was a basic clean accommodation which very convenient. However not so good if you have a car . So a bit of work involved finding suitable parking nearby . Maybe best to choose this accommodation if you travel by train. One minute walk from the the Crown Street tram stop. If only parking vouchers or information could be provided to those who travel by car otherwise the accommodation is ideally located. Quiet and clean with a useful kitchenette in the studio . Comfortable!

My recommendation is: Do not even contemplate ever staying at this Nasty, Filthy cockroach infested noisy dump. Staff did not care, wifi did not work after repeated requests to the invisible management.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS ABSOLUTE HOLE!! Worst experience I’ve ever had with hotels or any customer service! NO PARKING AT ALL! Couldn’t even end up staying due to no parking and customer service kept hanging up on me!!!! COMPLETE FAKE ADVERTISEMENT AND THEY WOULD NOT REFUND ME

The property was aesthetically rather ordinary but comfortable and big enough and clean. There was a big problem with the access. Too little explanation is given. It took us three phone calls to get into our room. The call centre person thought the room was on the ground floor when in fact, it was on floor one. There was no advice given to wait for each number of the pads to register before typing another number. Not done well at all!!

The place was easy to find and the room was so nice and lovely , the only issue and draw back was trying to park my car after work any where near the place ,. All the area was taken up with cars and I was driving around and around waiting for a space to open up , parking need to be looked at please
