長島市蔚景溫德姆飯店(Wingate by Wyndham Long Island City)

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. When I checked in at 7pm, I was given a room that was already occupied. The staff's response was indifferent, merely saying, "All the rooms are sold." This is unacceptable and unprofessional, not to mention a serious breach of privacy and security. I hope the management will address this issue appropriately, as I feel a refund is warranted for such a distressing experience.

Upscale and up to date. Spacious and clean. Would recommend

Please install a towel bar in the bathroom so we have somewhere to put wet towels other than a crumpled pile on the counter or floor. Also, for safety reasons, PLEASE put a grab bar in the shower! The shower floor can get quite slippery and I was very concerned for my 76-year-old father's safety, as well as my own. These are common-sense improvements that could be easily done.

El trato del personal, muy amables inclusion nuestro check out fue temprano pero nuestras cosas las resguardaron hasta la noche para que podamos disfrutar del día sin cargarlas y descansar un rato en la sala para esperar nuestro vuelo nocturno. Cercano al metro unos 4 min caminando y buena ubicación

The person in front desk was so friendly and helpful. Now the security was to extra every time we walked out he would ask are u guys checking out like hello if we was we would say so and all in the easy of us waking out but the hotel wass good I mean their a bar across the street so if you get a room infront facing the entrance we’re the train also past by it can get noisy in the weekend because the bar and also of course the train passing by but you can always request a room to the back . The place have microwave in the C level of the building and good vending machines their as well

Our stay was great and the comfort of our room was good. Our views up on the 13th floor was amazing, but wish we had views to the harbour. Our mini fridge didnt work and we had to do without it. Pet friendly which was a plus. Unfortunately the hotel is closing down for the time being.

Nous y sommes restés 8 nuits entre noël et la nouvelle année , chambre spacieuse , personnel accueillant , En revanche , le quartier est problématique, dealers, alcooliques … etc , en ce qui concerne la propreté celle ci est à revoir , le ménage n’est fait qu’à partir du 3 emes jours à l’hôtel , pour résumer le lit est fait et c’est tout .. pas d’aspirateur , pas de changement de drap ! le petit déjeuner … je comprends désormais pourquoi celui ci est gratuit = nul, rien à manger … Et pour finir problème de chauffage , il y a 12 degrés dans la salle où l’on est censé déjeuner le matin !!!!!

New modern hotel close to Subway and only 4 stops from Times Square. Hotel was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Offered to store our bags when we had an early flight into NY but were able to check us in early which was really appreciated after overnight flight (Thank you Alex). Area is a bit run down but seemed safe enough to walk back from subway at night as generally plenty of others around. Room was a good size. Breakfast was ok but was busy at most times we went down. Overall one of the better hotels I’ve stayed in in NY so well worth a look.

Decent 3 star hotel. Rooms are quite spacious compared to other hotels. Includes breakfast which turns out to be pretty good. Choices from toast, boiled eggs, waffles, bagels, oats, fruits, muffins, etc. along with coffee and juice. Heater in the room is not very good at all. It doesn't seem to provide much heat and the temperature on the thermostat barely changes when you increase the temperature.. it takes days for it to go up like 1 degree lol. Pretty bad. Also, something really annoying was the fact that the door wouldn't open like 3/4 of the time with the key card. It gets stuck randomly and i think maybe you have to open the door immediately after scanning the key card or it doesn't work and even then it doesn't always work. Had someone come by to check and they said the engineer would be by the next day to fix it, and yet nobody showed up. Had to have at least myself or my brother in the room at all times because of this dumb door problem. Also a few other small but somewhat significant annoyances to note... The coffee given in the room is pretty good (Wolfgang Puck coffee), but it's only decaf. Usually in a hotel room you find decaf and caf options but in this case there was just two decaf coffees.. Weird. Also, for the shower all you get is shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. No body wash/gel or soap. That's odd. Am I supposed to use the one bar of soap given for both the sink and the shower? Doesn't make much sense and it's not typical of most hotels.
