紐約市切爾西MOXY飯店(Moxy NYC Chelsea)

Conviennent location in midtown Manhattan , and very nice city view. The hotel offered Daily Cash for food and laundry. The room is small with some smart space design, suitable for travellers with light packages. I had a wonderful experience here.

Rigtig god oplevelse. Fik et værelse med udsigt til Empire State Building, hvilket var fænomenalt. Gode senge og rengøringen var også i top. Fællesarealerne (Baren på 2. sal og Rooftop) var flot indrettet og havde en god "vibe". Hotellet ligger godt centralt, tæt på mange af de populære seværdigheder. Alt i alt et godt hotel og god service fra personalet.

Great position to use as a base for visiting NYC, two subways within a 4 minute walk. We booked a room with 4 single beds which was ideal - I found nowhere else in Manhattan that offers this option. Room was small with limited storage space but for us it was fine for a 5 night stay.

Liked the decor and the proximity to MSG but the cafe and second floor bar are very small and were usually crowded. There is a $30 daily resort fee that they say can be used for credit in the cafe or bar but not very easily. The rooftop bar was challenging to access due to the crowd as well. The Moxy is a very nice one time experience.

This hotel is overpriced. The rooms are tiny. No cabinets, no chairs or sofás, no desk. The bathroom is small, without a door on the shower, without a bathtub, etc. This hotel is only for night lounges. The rooms are the same level as a $200-night hotel in town.

I was going to be there about an hour earlier and had a call to take. So tried to reach them by phone to see if they would let me check in an hour early. Or I would find other quiet location. Nope. You cannot reach them by phone! The super happy bot simply keeps running you in circles and refuses to connect even when it says it's connecting you to a live agent. So if you are in need of assistance or have a question when you are out of the hotel, you are also out of luck. So had to get there in person. When arrived and asked if I could checkin an hour earlier (I had checked the hotel website the same room I had booked was available for sale), the response was a no effort, scripted all check-ins are at 4. No attempt to help or assist. I understand cleaning and all other things but I stay at Marriott hotels on a weekly basis and know the difference between when someone is trying to help you and when they are not. Tried to go to the vibe bar next door so maybe I could sit there. No one would seat me or talk to me for over 10 minutes I was there. I used to like Moxy because of their vibe, but will be skipping them from now on. You cannot run a hotel on groovy vibes alone and you should definitely not be able to operate one without allowing its guests the ability to reach you. And a chirpy bot doesn't count. If they would simply pick up their phone!

Very hip, nice crowd, cute coffee shop and bars at this location. It’s also conveniently located. The only issues I had were the small size of the room (no closet at all) and that my room wasn’t cleaned daily unless I asked.
