福奇的紐約巴里埃飯店(Hotel Barriere Fouquet's New York)

This is a new, gorgeous property, in the heart of Tribeca. The staff excels in every department. A must see/stay hotel.

This is my new favorite ”home away from home” in NYC. Absolutely beautiful property, impeccable service, incredible staff with two fabulous restaurants and bars. I haven’t yet made it to the spa but understand that it is also spectacular. I hear the rooftop bar will be opening soon. Can’t wait!

We did a one-night staycation to explore the newly opened Fouquet's and LOVED it. They did not spare any expense in the rooms, or in the incredibly well-fitted out hydrotherapy area of the spa (sauna, steam, hydrotherapy pool). The restaurants are gorgeous with creative, modern, and international menus, AND the frenchiest - DELICIOUS - freshly made croissant and pastry for breakfast. Glad we got an upgrade, because even the 'legacy' room was small - in usual NYC fashion.

Barriere is beautifully decorated, high end and small, just what NYC needs more of! I was so excited to stay here and especially excited to try the spa. I wanted to love it and I do think it has a ton of potential. Negatives were: The service and food at the restaurants were not up to par for the hotel or the prices. The fries I ordered for room service were practically raw, they were so undercooked. We also ate brunch and breakfast there that were just average for a 5 star French restaurant. The service was so poor, we had to practically beg to get our bill after lunch which took about 30 minutes. The bar scene at night is where they are gaining traction. It is fun and buzzy and the cocktails were great. The service was much better during cocktail hour and it was fun to see all the beautiful New Yorkers arrive. The spa was a great, huge disappointment. It was beautiful looking but the staff was not qualified to run a high-end spa. I was told to arrive 30 minutes before my treatment, which I did but no one arrived to work there until the moment of my service. The gentleman aesthetician did not seem to be well-trained, nor the quality that I would expect at a 5 star spa. It wasn't even clear that he knew how to work the equipment required for my facial. The spa did end up giving me a 15% discount, but I felt sick to have paid as much as I did end up paying for what I actually received. Would I stay there again? I don't think it is delivering the 5 star experirence that one can get for the same price at other hotels in nyc.

Absolutely wonderful stay. The room was exceptional and the most relaxing stay in all of our travels. The turndown service included some delightful surprises. It will be hard to stay anywhere else. Breakfast at fouquets was good. We had drinks at Titsou and this was the highlight of our stay. Our bar server-Conor is truly a pro mixologist with a great personality, servers Barbara and Bella added fun to our experience. The drinks were spectacular and the service was dead spot on. For such a large crowd, we were able to be served as if we were the only ones there. The entire staff deserves a shout-out as they made the evening seamless. And to add to the ambience, watching the chic New York crowd was a bonus. Can’t wait to go back!

We were so looked forward to staying at this hotel considering our kids live a few blocks from it. We usually stay at the (always excellent) Greenwich Hotel just down the street and had reservations there, yet we were ready to cancel that room just to try something new in TriBeca. We called the Barriere Fouquet directly and they confirmed to us that it is indeed a hotel that has a benefit structure with our credit card so we should book through the cc company to take advantage of those benefits (nicer rooms, lower prices, spa and breakfast credits, etc), which we attempted. We called the cc company and their rep put us on hold while she contacted the hotel on her end, and when she returned she said that the rep she spoke with at the hotel kept raising the pricing structure on the room as well as voiding our cc benefits and trying to nudge us up to higher-priced rooms, thus the 2 night cost wound up being substantially more expensive and the benefits package far less than those found at the equally upscale Greenwich just two blocks away. Ultimately it sounded like an egregiously difficult group to work with so we stuck with our trusted Greenwich Hotel, which we will continue to do on our regular future stays. Thus, unfortunately I can't write a true review of the hotel because we didn't even make it past the booking process, which was unnecessarily unpleasant. Too bad as we were really looking forward to it.

Stayed 18-23 December. After deliberating over many hotels so glad I chose this one. Everything was amazing and hotel was spotless, brand new and very light and airy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bar gorgeous and room service was also very good. Would defo stay here again.

Beautiful hotel and impeccable service - I can't wait to get back. I lived in Tribeca for many years and after I left the city I was a dedicated patron of The Greenwich on the four or five times a year I was back in town. However, after multiple bad experiences with management I stopped and stayed in a different area of town. I'm excited to say that I can now return to my old neighborhood after finding Hotel Barrière Fouquet's New York. The design is beautiful and the glow that fills the lobby area when the sun is shining is a refreshing experience compared to most other city hotels. However, the way I truly enjoy my stays in beautiful hotels is via their staff and the ones that work here are an absolutely pleasure to interact with. There are a few I'd like to mention specifically - concierges Nathaniel and Valentina were incredibly helpful with the logistics of getting me to the hotel at a very late hour and for handling a package that arrived at the hotel after I checked out. Also, Tenzin at the front desk was more than happy to accommodate my request when I needed a special breakdown of my bill at checkout and arranged to hold an item that a friend had left in my room until she could pick it up. Food and beverage were stellar and it's overseen by the very helpful and kind manager, Fernando. At 2 am when I arrived at the hotel l was starving and beyond excited that I was able to order a burger and fries via room service (absolutely delicious). It was so late but the voice on the line did not seem to be put out and even hunted down a glass of wine for me though the bar had closed for the night. I had breakfast at the hotel on two days and brunch once and the same person served me each time and always greeted me with a smile (forgot to get their name). I had dinner at the hotel one night with three other people and the food was tremendous but our server Steven (spelling?) was what made our meal extra special. The fact that I can again stay in my old neighborhood at a incredible hotel makes me very happy and I'm looking forward to my return in a couple of months.
