Welcome to the Owl, where every effort has been made to make your stay a pleasure. Within minutes walk to the Rail Trail or Wallkill River boat launch. Ski Windham or Hunter, both just an hour away. This enviable spot is a countrylike setting yet 2 minutes by car puts you in the heart of the village of New Paltz where you will find numerous boutique shops and delightful eateries. Stay in and prepare a meal in your nicely equipped kitchen or cook on the grill and dine on the private patio. Guest access You will have the private access to the apartment which is in a walk-in basement. The host with the family live upstairs.About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About events:No events allowed.

Graduation weekend Fantastic property and gracious hospitality. The hosts were friendly and kind. The location is quiet and peaceful, tucked only a few minutes from the busy town. Immaculate and well appointed. Walkable to the beautiful trails. We would highly recommend this getaway spot.

New Paltz/ Hudson River Valley Fall Visit We enjoyed our stay at this apartment in New Paltz. The location is excellent, close to the Main street shopping area and restaurants.

Welcoming and Central This is a great spot for parents visiting their kids at SUNY New Paltz. It's close to campus, downtown and biking/walking trails. Kitchen is well-stocked for those who like to cook and the space is very cozy.

Terrific property. I highly recommend staying here. The apartment was very clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The location was terrific, with close proximity to walking/biking trails and to town. The host was very accommodating and responsive. I would highly recommend staying here. I plan to come back myself, on my next visit to New York.

Triathlon Weekend Our second stay in 2 months. The apartment is very clean, very close to town and the hosts are friendly and responsive. I can’t recommend enough!

Absolutely Perfect! Our hosts provided amazing attention to detail and tended to our needs without affecting our privacy. The space was clean, comfortable, and cozy. One of the best qualities of this rental is its location - a short 1-2min walk to the rail trail and boat launch on the river. Once on the rail trail, it's only another 5min walk to the village!
