Excellent hotel, very close to the French Quarter, quiet, good breakfast.

Friendly staff, great location. Daily breakfast was pretty good. You’re supposed to get housekeeping service every other day but I never received it despite requesting it with the front desk on the third and fourth days, even asked the maid when she was a few doors down from my room and she still skipped me.

The room had a terrible smell and the floors were very dirty and had not been vacuumed. Chips and other stuff on the floor. The check in was terrible. We were left locked outside in the parking area because the entry cards were not set correctly. The room was only serviced on day two and they might as well not have bothered as they did not vacuum or replace anything. All they did was take trash which i had bagged and left by the door and replace towels. Many more issues and one of my worst hotel experiences.

Whenever I come to New Orleans I always stay in the French Quarter…but for this trip my boyfriend and I stayed here at Hampton and had an amazing experience! From the moment I hopped out the truck after an 11 hour drive in from Florida, Antonio welcomed me back to the city and welcomed my boyfriend a first timer! The accommodations were nice and clean… the breakfast was tasty with lots of items to choose from. The added bonus to all of this was that we were a block away from Frenchmen Street. Based on these things alone makes it a no brainer to return back here each time I come back to my favorite city!

The hotel is newer (only 2 years old). The vibe is fun and inviting when you enter the hotel. Our room was large, the HVAC (air conditioning) kept up the pace on the hot days. The windows were large and have darkening shades. The rooms were very soundproof. The front staff was amazing. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and did their best to accomodate our requests. A special shout out to William who provided us with recommendations for food and experiences. He greeted us warmly everytime we walked by. It's not often that you feel like the staff is "family" but that was my experience at this property.

My main concern was they never bothered to clean my room. Which was odd because the housekeepers were outside of my door and watched me leave. After returning and finding my room not cleaned, I called the front desk for clean towels and to tell them my room had not been cleaned. They didn’t even apologize for it not being cleaned and informed me I had to come to the front desk to get towels. After making my own bed, I left my son in the room while I retrieved towels from the front desk. I personally wouldn’t stay there again.

Picked my room and checked in on the Hilton Honors app the night before, hotel easy to get to from the highway, park in the front to pay for parking and get a permit, got a nice welcome bag with a couple of waters and some Zapp’s chips (thanks Sonia). Room was spacious and clean for a family of 4. We walked the majority of the time but it was easy to grab an Uber or Lyft at the front door because the hotel is in such an open area. We loved looking at all the beautiful homes in the area. And we discovered a great upscale grocery store down the street called Robért at St Claude. Started every morning in the surprisingly spacious breakfast area in the lobby. Very clean and well maintained property.
