新奧爾良維京飯店(Virgin Hotels New Orleans)

We were on a trip with 4 other couples, all staying in various hotels around Canal/Bourbon street, and the property at Virgin Hotels in New Orleans, from the lobby/coffeshop, to the room, to the rooftop bar were far and away better than the other properties for around the same price. It was our Anniversary weekend, and there was a very nice gift from the hotel in our room upon arrival, and everything was perfect. For anyone looking to see the WWII museum on their stay, it was an easy 10 min. walk, and Bourbon Street was 15-20 minutes away (for those inclined). The pictures and reviews on this hotel are accurate and probably understated compared to the experience we just had there in May 2022!

Definitely the best hotel option - it’s very picturesque, and provides everything you need as far as entertainment (there’s two bars, food, nightly entertainment and the rooftop is essentially a club/busy bar itself. )

The Virgin Hotel was vibrant and offered a relaxed art deco experience. The interior design is very inviting. Red room doors, vintage meets rock. The entire stay from the doormen to check out was inviting. I will book more stays at Virgin Hotels in the future.

Our front desk agent, J'quan, was a fellow UNO graduate and told us all about his upcoming features in a film about John Lewis. He was personable, friendly, and a joy to chat with. Cyrena Kurr sent a lovely amenity to the room - I always appreciate her warmth and hospitality! One night was far too short a stay, but hopefully we can return again soon.

Asked for blown light bulbs to be relaced in room - reminded them for 4 days - never received a reply nor were the bulbs replaced - could not work or see without TV on for light...at their nightly rate, a few light bulbs should have been addressed immediately. Will No Longer Recommend Patronage while under this General Manager.

We celebrated our one year anniversary there and really enjoyed the location cleanliness of the property. The rooms were also really nice - however the mattresses are extremely soft and uncomfortable - it was pretty difficult sleeping. The pillows as well - seems minor in the grand scheme of things, but it adds to the overall comfort and experience. Also, the pool is extremely small and given that it’s open to folks outside of the hotel it can become crowded really quickly. One of the reasons I chose the property was because of the pool so to get there and see the size was very disappointing. The photos are very misleading. But overall the customer service, cleanliness, location and proximity to everything was great!

The rooms are great! I love the separation in the space as it makes it feel like a small apar**ent. The location is fantastic as it’s in a quieter area, but only a 20 min walk to everything, or a quick 7-10 min Uber drive to all attractions. However, what makes this place great is the staff. Everyone was super nice and attentive.

This Virgin Hotels property was OK. It seems that the only option was the valet, which was pretty expensive. The King Chamber was the nicest part. The dinner choices and taste was not great. The staff were nice but didn’t know some of the items I then shared with them about my booking. I was almost charged twice for parking if I had not seen the error.

Where do I begin?! From David who greeted me at check in… who let me have the room early to everyone else who helped me while I was there: Brittany, Sharese, James, Jasmine, and of course the most excellent night manager Zariyah. Wonderful room, fabulous surroundings and genuinely helpful people! Will stay again due to the staff alone 😁
