奧爾良皇家歐姆尼飯店(Omni Royal Orleans Hotel)

The hotel is worn out and Covid seems to have taken a toll without maintenance. The place needs a total refresh. Room and bathroom were not clean, rugs stained and worn out, dark, bathroom grout varied from black to white. Previously stayed there 50 times, but need to change.

As a long time Omni customer, it’s sad to say that I highly recommend NOT staying at this hotel. It is old and outdated, extremely loud, dirty and infested with rodents. In addition, to what I can only refer to in this post as an ‘adult party’ in the room next door and the talented street performers on the hotel’s immediate premises playing violin with an extremely loudspeaker into the early morning hours of 1-2am each night right outside our upgraded room with a balcony, we also had the lovely experience of a Code Amber, as the staff referred to it, when they came to collect a mouse I had captured using the room’s trash can. The on-site manager only offered us an immediate downgrade the night of Code Amber, followed by an additional room move the next day to get back into a comparable room and an insulting $100 room credit. It was obvious he didn’t care, he told me how busy he was with the hotel wedding party that took precedence. Since we successfully caught the mouse and moving twice is a major pain the the rear, we elected for a single room move the following day, and in the new room it was highly visible the uncleanliness was standard with the shower curtain covered in multiple pink colored mold and stains. It’s a shame, as we have always loved the Omni properties in Charlotte, Hilton Head, Grove Park and Amelia Island. This property does not come close to comparing and it’s a shame the staff could not do any better to make things right for a former valuable customer.

Hotel is very run down. Our towel hanger in the shower came clean out of the wall. We’ve stayed there many times and it has clearly not had any upkeep. The wallpaper has come off the walls. The rugs in the rooms are fraying. It’s not good.

The location couldn't be better! They take care of you coming in and leaving with taxis waiting for the doorman to call them over. Not that you'll need them anyway being able to walk easily to everything you want to do in the French quarter.

Customer Service was great from beginning to the end. The staff is friendly, respectful and accommodating. I checked in at midnight and didn't care for the room I was assigned after asking for a room change maintenance took me on a room tour allowing me to choose the room I was comfortable with. The following morning I requested an upgrade to a larger room, the manager was helpful, and understanding she approved my upgrade with no additional charges and the gentleman signed me up for the reward program so I can receive free wifi. The free music entertainment offered in the lobby of the hotel was AWESOME! Thanks for making my stay personable you guys rock!

Old-world styled hotel with extremely friendly staff and location. Room was very quiet, neat and clean. My only complaint was that the bed was too soft. Other than that, it was just a few feet from Brennan's, within walking distance of Bourbon Street and the Mississippi River. Been to New Orleans many times but this will become my new stopping place.

Wonderful location, close to everything Staff is amazing, couldn’t do enough for us during our stay. Lovely singer at the bar on the weekends. Great restaurant and bar. Room clean and comfortable. Can’t wait to come back

Excellent service and assistance from everyone that we encountered here! The hotel has inside parking with valet service, which was very much appreciated since the streets are narrow. Only a block from Bourbon Street. Great hotel and we would definitely recommend it!

The location was convenient to the entire French Quarter. The room service was excellent. The service staff were friendly, and always available. Big shout out to Al. That guy made our stay at the Omni Royal a pleasantly memorable experience.
