Pihopa Retreat

Merveilleux et charmant établissement à proximité du magnifique Parc Abel Tasman. Les chambres sont immenses et extrêmement raffinées, tous les délais sont soignés. Sarah, la responsable est aux petits soins pour ses clients. Le petit déjeuner, servi dans une ancienne chapelle, est absolument délicieux. Tout était parfait ! Nous recommandons chaudement une halte de quelques jours dans cet endroit magique.

We had a wonderful stay at the Pilopa retreat. Sarah and her team did not miss a beat and did everything humanly possible to provide the utmost service and comfort. I could go on and on, we have gone home with very special memories of this stay. I would book again in a heartbeat if we make it back to Nelson one day.

Our stay at the Pihopa Retreat was amazing! The attention to all the little details really stands out. Sarah, Annie and all the staff were incredibly nice and personable. Loved the nightly happy hour as an opportunity to get to know the staff and other guests. We will be back next time we out in NZ.

Pihopa Retreat is the perfect place to clock off from the world and immerse in beautiful natural surroundings. Stunning bird life, nearby bush walks and coastal exploring. The room was beautifully decadent and the view from the bath an amazing. Breakfast was another highlight. Just to experience that alone. In an old beautiful wooden chapel as well. I'll be back to enjoy a summer day by the pool. A must visit. Thank you Sarah for all your help.

Sarah, family & staff are superb! Not only is the property a Nelson landmark, Sarah has turned it into an amazing oasis of history and relaxation. Rosie the chef serves up wonderful breakfasts in the mornings and delightful canapés for evening cocktails. Having only 6 suites on the entire property truly gives you a sense of being in a private home. As mentioned earlier, the attention to detail and customer service are superb! I rarely write reviews and I rarely am over the moon impressed - and here I am. Our experience at Pihopa Retreat was impeccable. Sarah and her team made us feel taken care of in all ways, while it also felt like we were at our own retreat. Everything from the evening canapés and drinks, a dip in the heated pool, amazing breakfasts, evening port by the fire, homemade treats in our room to the organizing of dinners and taxi’s in town so we saw something of Nelson beyond Abel Tasman track. We took a great hike straight from the property, and getting to town was super easy. I will recommend this hotel to anyone going to New Zealand, and I would recommend a stop in Nelson if for nothing else than to stay here and enjoy everything on offer. Thanks so much to Sarah and the team for creating a special memory for all of us.
