Room is little small but clean and neat. Easily sufficient for two people. Friendly staff. They have restaurant also

The room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated in a coastal theme. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable with soft linens and multiple pillow options. The private balcony had a breathtaking ocean view, perfect for morning coffee or sunset watching.

I was browsing through the available hotel options in Nellore for a night stay - as I was driving down with family to attend a marriage. I stayed in Minerva Grand earlier, and I was happy with their service. But I wanted to try this hotel out as it was a Royal Orchid property. Some of the good things first - 1. The location - its one of the prime junctions in the town - very close to bus and railway stations, restaurants etc. 2. A2B is a stone's throw - A2B is very well known for their idlis and dosas in addition to a nice filter coffee. Above all, its all VEG. A very important factor for me 3. Parking facility - At first you will fell that there is no space available to park even a single car.. but they have a huge ground for car parking - behind the hotel premises. Only issue - you have to park under the sun.. no tree cover whatsover. Good luck in peak summer Now, the not-so-good things... We booked a standard room (over the counter, not online). While the rooms were small and cozy (no complaints there), I was baffled to see that the bathroom is covered with a layer of semi-transparent glass. You would love it if you are a lone couple, who booked a hotel stay just for some fun. But, for all practical purposes, especially if you have grown up kids, this a strict no-no. And, this is no Goa or Pondi to have such facility. Its a small town. Not sure whose idea it was. The worst thing - Lack of knowledge with staff to demarcate space for veg and non-veg dishes - Its a standard practice to keep veg and non-veg dishes separately - in a buffet system. But, what I have seen here is completely unacceptable (refer to the photo). A veg and non-veg dish sharing space in the same chafing dish. Worse part, the staff feels that there is nothing wrong in placing dishes like that. I have to literally shout at him to remove either one of them. I wanted to speak to the manager but he was not available. Not sure if this is the practice that Royal Orchid follows. As an outcome of this shouting - all the dishes that we ordered (Dosa/ puri/ coffee) were served very late, after multiple reminders. So much for the Royal Orchid brand. Will give this hotel a miss from next time. Thanks for the experience Royal Orchid.

I booked for 2 days when I had work only on Sunday only for a comfortable stay as. I had to attend a wedding and there was no hot water and the door was not locking from inside which delayed me going to the wedding and the muhurtham was over by the time the hotel brought a bucket of water and put a heater into it to heat . First of all to respond the reception and maintainance took 1.5 hours only after I went to the reception and shouted at him he sent the maintainence guy!! I came to Nellore for wedding and ended up missing it because of the amenities of the hotel.

Worst ever experience, congested rooms with 5 size beds only. No hot water. If hot water required they provide only one bucket after requested 30 minutes. Room service also very very bad. Don't prefer this hotel. Waste of money.

neat and clean no nonsense rooms , food needs improvement . staff needs to be increased. I faced only issue in room service. everything else is fine .
