海德拉斯克羅馬塔飯店

L’alloggio è stupendo e rende il soggiorno a Hydra ancora più un sogno. La posizione è ottimale, vicina al porto e comoda da raggiungere. Oltretutto è silenziosa. C’è un bellissimo balcone grande e con vista mare con tutti i comfort (ombrelloni, sedie, tavolo, sdraio). La casa è estremamente pulita (ogni giorno viene pulita e vengono cambiati gli asciugamani, sempre profumati). La doccia è grande e dotata anche di idromassaggio. In bagno ci sono shampoo, balsamo e latte per il corpo della Korres (ottima). C’è un phon nuovo e professionale e anche asciugamani per il mare. Per finire, la cosa che mi ha commosso, per l’importanza che ha per me la colazione: ogni mattina Yannis porta pane fresco (é possibile anche fare dei panini da portare con sé). C’è la macchina del caffè e le capsule, marmellate, miele, burro, latte, fette biscottate, yogurt, succo di frutta, cereali, biscotti, formaggio e prosciutto per chi ama la colazione salata e ogni giorno una bottiglia di acqua nuova. Insomma, c’e tutto! Yannis è sempre disponibile a dare consigli. C’è molta flessibilità per il check in e check out e Yannis ci è venuto a prendere al porto anche se siamo arrivati la sera tardi. Piccole, grandi attenzioni che rendono il soggiorno ancora più bello. Grazie di tutto Yannis!

We had an exhibition at the Hydra museum [Sculptures by Rita Habermann] and had to come to an island, staying at a hotel within walking and no-step distance of the Museum. Hydra Chromate fit the bill. The room was fine, the sleep was prefect and the environment enticing. The only two issues was that 1/there was no salt and pepper in the kitchen [I asked we need that for eggs we cook in the morning to which the answer was: that's why we don't supply eggs with breakfast!!] and 2/ we had friends staying in a room above us whose water pipes broke during the night and flooded their room [our friend has movement problems]. I found out in the morning and called the number of the person responsible but no one picked the phone. By chance a lady arrived and I informed her of the problem. I suggested they credit one night and they said they wouldn't because they fixed the problem quickly!! This is unacceptable customer relations. Apart from that, as I said earlier, the stay was nice and uneventful.

I have not been to Hydra before, so I didn't know where to stay so I picked Hydras Chromata based on reviews. We stayed in the Senior apartment. This was an awesome place, very spacious 2 bedroom 2.5 bath with a large living room and kitchen which separates the 2 bedrooms. There is a great restaurant steps away and a grocery store perhaps 50 meters away. The port is a 2 minute walk. Anna, the host, was great. Every morning there was fresh bread hanging on the door. The fridge was stocked with milk orange juice, meat and cheese for snacks plus yogurt and other breakfast treats. I will only stay here when we return. No regrets.
