埃萊奧裡託豪華度假村(ELaiolithos Luxury Retreat Hotel & Suites - Adults Only)

We ended three weeks in Greece by staying at this remarkable small resort located in the hills above the city of Naxos. It was the perfect place to unwind and escape crowds. It is surrounded by charming villages, beautiful views, and hiking trails. We were treated to delicious farm-to-table food and creative cocktails, some of the best we had on the whole trip. We were greeted by Helen, owner and charming host. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The resort is eco-friendly and a welcome mix of modern facilities in a traditional, rustic area. If we are lucky enough to return to Greece, ELaiolithos will definitely be one of the first places we book. We had a wonderful time.

I take into account that it may sound unbelievable but I hope for your sake that you will believe me. We stayed 2 nights at Helena's place and then extended our stay for another night, because we couldn't leave this amazing place. the room is accurate to every detail, decorated with unique style. the whole place is extraordinary , the view is amazing, the surrounding villages are dreamy and that it is not just the most amazing thing here. The most amazing thing is the hospitality we received from the owner of the place. I'm afraid to develop expectations but we received ten star hospitality, with amazing surprises in the form of a yoga class, a massage, an amazing dinner and much more. All the food here is locally produced from the surrounding villages, everything is fresh, delicious. I know it sounds like an invited criticism but it's not, really not. We just feel in the sky. Highly recommended.

We stayed at ELaiolithos for 3 nights during our honeymoon and I wish we had more time here! Accommodations - we stayed in the Helen of Troy room and it was so beautifully decorated. Every corner of the rooms had something interesting to see and the balcony had the most glorious view of the mountain range. The common area has a gorgeous pool and lounge chairs. The restaurant area has beautiful views and all the decor is curated with beautiful local items and artwork. The space is very peaceful and quiet. My husband would want me to add that he loved the gym which is brand new - he used it every day! Food - I cannot say enough good things about the food. The breakfast was fresh and filling and we had several lunches and dinners here as well. I think we tried more than half the menu. The ingredients are all locally sourced and you can taste how fresh and crisp the produce was. The local wine was also a favorite of mine, I couldn’t get enough of it! The host Helen explained where each of the ingredients came from (goat cheese from her brother’s farm, olives from the grove across the street, etc.) Hospitality - Helen and her staff were just incredible. They made us feel like family and we’re always available to us. Helen surprised us with massages and yoga which we loved. She also gave us great recommendations for food and sights. We felt like we got a taste of the beautiful culture of Naxos and we would not have had such an experience without Helen. Location - the hotel is situated about 30 minutes from Naxos town and the beaches. We rented a car and drove up. The drive was an adventure on its own. We saw so many beautiful mountains, farms with free range goats, olive trees, the coast line and marble quarries. The location is perfect for a full Naxos experience. We spent time in Halki, Chora and the beaches. Helen recommended a more private beach which we LOVED. You must ask her about it! Thank you so much Helen, Pamela, and Katerina! A single word for ELaiolithos---fabulous! The resort itself was absolutely beautiful, but the views and the sunsets took it to an even higher level. Helen, the owner, and Pamela were the best! And did I mention the food? All fresh and locally sourced ingredients, with much of those ingredients from Helen's own family. My husband and I enjoyed our stay immensely, and I highly recommend it.

ELaiolithos has the owner Helen’s stamp all over it. Helen and Pamela were very welcoming and provided us great local food including homemade jams and smoothies, Greek yogurt, salads with local cheese, and really tasty cocktails. They made sure we were never hungry! The atmosphere is very intimate and we chatted with the staff and other guests throughout our stay. Helen also gave us lots of tips on where to go and what to do nearby and throughout Naxos. There’s good hiking nearby the property - throughout the valley where Helen’s brother’s sheeps graze for more easygoing hiking or to Mount Zas a short drive away for more challenging hiking. The staff has lots of attention to detail and helps tailor your stay. They brought fresh melon to our room after our more strenuous hike and offered us a complimentary massage. We divided our stay in Naxos into two parts - 2 nights at ELaiolithos and 2 nights closer to the beach. I’d strongly recommend this. Although beaches are accessible from ELaiolithos, probably 30 min drive, we really enjoyed exploring the inland part of Naxos - the mountains, villages (Chalki, Filoti, Apeiranthos), and local food and culture. Already joining a great holiday in Naxos with my family, we went to ELaiolithos for a special day celebrating my birthday. We all loved the local Naxos grown ecological foods transformed into culinary masterpieces served to us. We also enjoyed the incredible view on the terrace, and when the night fell, we even got the opportunity to use a very nice Dobson telescope for stargazing! What a delightful day in this beautiful and tranquil setting. Thank you Helen for your hospitality and generosity.

I drove around 30 minutes from Naxos port feeling rather stressed. All I can say is that the moment I arrived at Elaiolithos after a much easier than expected drive, I was greeted by the wonderful Helen Maraki. I immediately felt relaxed seeing the beautiful property and views of Mount Zas. The surroundings are magnificent and peaceful. Helen is the heart and soul of the resort- she treats everyone like family. After showing me my room she asked me, "are you hungry?" She loves to pamper her guests and give non touristy travel suggestions. Furthermore, she encourages her guests to get to know each other- I met some great people. Alongside Helen, are Katerina and Pamela, who are also fantastic. The breakfast is seriously the best I have ever had anywhere- everything super fresh, locally sourced and organic. The room had everything I needed and was spotless. Helen took fantastic care of me- making sure I saw the best sites, beaches and local life during my stay in Naxos. I can not wait to return!

Early 40’s couple travelling from Canada. We found ourselves at El Aiolithos after touring the Turkey and Egypt and the resort was a very welcome site indeed. We did 2 nights but should have done more. Property is stunning and intimate. Loved the room, the view, the setting. Very unique place with lots of personal touches. Breakfast was a highlight - and the restaurant as a whole is true farm to table as everything is sourced within a few km. Pool was great. Real mountain village vibes. Owner, Helen and her staff were fabulous hosts. To note - We did not have a car but thanks to Helen being so accommodating and helping us to get around we managed but you will probably want to rent a car if staying up in the mountains. All I can say is book it - you won’t be disappointed.
