Food was great for an AI, room service options were so so but you can always bring food from dining room back to the room. Beach was clean. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I’d suggest getting a spot at the pool early (leave you pool towel on chairs early) for a prime spot, seats fill up. There’s always spots on the beach though.

I love the whole all inclusive idea, but the friendliness and kind attitude of the staff make the RIU a cut above. The employees seem happy and it shows. Good was plentiful and tasty The only food I was not fond of was in the Asian restaurant. Lovely pool/bar area

Probably the most disappointed we’ve ever been. We are not travelers in that we vacation every year it’s been about 7 years since our last vacation. I always book with Riu because they are always great so we had no doubt it would be fantastic but it turned out very disappointing. We couldn’t book any restaurants because we were not there long enough our stay was from November 13-16th. The overall service was also poor. I’ve never in my life wrote a review and never felt the need to quite honestly but this property (The Riu Palace Bahamas) was a major disappoin**ent. The one restaurant that we were squeezed into the Kuninarium we waited to be seated 45 minutes when finally seated the dining room wasn’t nearly full. The food was awful. The overall cleanliness of the property also lacking. While on the beach the first and only day we encountered an argument between security and another employee on the beach right next to us. Not the hotels fault but due to winds guests were not allowed to even slip a toe into the ocean. There was not one lounge chair available near the pool. We requested two blankets brought to our room it took days to get them. We are so easy to please and we’re so looking forward to our time away but this property was a huge disappoin**ent.

Our check-in was delayed by an hour however, we had been there for two hours. After forcing a request for a room, they failed to give us towel keys for a flight 508, and they also failed to set us up for reservations for dining, knowing that it books 2 days in advance, they did not have our room fully prepared. There was no soap, bar or liquid in our shower. Our safe did not work. Our remote did not work. There was an odor in our room. The toilet backed up and would not flush. And lastly, there were multiple roaches found in our room. Until the incident with the roaches, they failed to move us to another room. After requesting, I will say that most of the auxiliary staff were very helpful and kind.

The staff were super friendly. I only had the buffet food and it was all very good. The property is slightly remote but a small town is nearby/walkable. For my purpose of a solo winter getaway, it was perfect!

The food was great, huge selection at the buffet, walk-in seating there, very large dining room area. The specialty restaurants were also very good. Truly all inclusive with quality. Very happy with our stay. Thank you!

There are 5 restaurants on property. We were only able to make reservations for one night, as the rest of the nights were all booked at the available restaurants. Very disappointing.

Buen servicio, muy bien todo

The staff are amazing, super attentive and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The furnished balcony is an added bonus and lovely to catch the last bit of sun of you're West facing. The food options were good but the vegetarian menu could do with an update. The entertainment keeps you going. The beach is lovely but can get a little rough and choppy at times which I think is why the hotel can't offer non-motorised watersports like kayaks and SUPs.
