Nice, but probably wouldn't return ... Positives – great location far enough away from the chaos of Nassau and the cruise ship port. Lovely rooms that were beautifully decorated and ours was fairly recently renovated. Two large pools – one heated and the other less so. Beachfront, plus the option of taking the boat over to their private island. Mini bar included – as long as you can get them to refill it which took a call to reception each day! Negatives – room cleaning was inconsistent. Every day something was forgotten – towels, bathmat, mopping the floors etc or even cleaning our room entirely! Room was on the 6th floor and water pressure was poor - at worst we had the shower on ‘full’ yet we weren’t even getting a dribble of water. The Sandals app is clunky and doesn’t function at all well. We didn’t book a ‘butler’ room and were glad we didn’t. We weren’t enthused with the concept and most definitely didn’t like the two-tier class system it created. The onsite restaurants vary dramatically from awful to great in terms of food quality + service. Sandals sell their all inclusive package as ‘all premium alcohol included’. BUT in several restaurants we were also given a wine list with additional cost and NOT told we could still order from the wines that were included until we asked. Felt like an underhand way to make more money. We were lucky to have a quiet room on the back side of the ‘East Bay’ building. Rooms overlooking the west pool get far more noise from the events + loud music all day.

The property is close to the airport and the beach and property itself was nice. The major con of this resort is how it is managed and the customer service. We were only there for 3 nights and could not get reservations at the restaurants The check in process was extremely slow. Service at the restaurants and in general was sub par. As a small example, the water in our room was not restocked and I had to call 4 times before someone brought water. The best run operation at the resort was the food trucks. They were fast, friendly and offered great customer service. Other than the food trucks, service was extremely slow and the staff seemed extremely unhappy.
