2. Breakfast was at Leopoldo bar 1-200 meters away. It was very busy on Monday morning but fast service. Amount was typical for local as we saw most local people just grabbing a piece of sweet bread and coffee. But for most overseas travelers that was tiny for breakfast.
Con: 1. Very poor attitude of receptionist. She hung up my call twice while I still asked questions. That was very rude. We didn’t know how to open the front door. Then when we came in we didn’t know how to go upstairs with big luggage. When we later saw an antique elevator and didn’t know how to use it. She didn’t explain but hung up. She seemed annoyed that we didn’t know all these. Starting with a poor reception everything later turned unwelcome.
2. We need 1.5 euros coins to activate the antique elevator. What if we didn’t have some coins while receptionist didn’t want to help anything? How could we go upstairs? When we managed to go there she asked for passport while we were still busy with our 3 big luggage. My wife was so afraid as there was no smile from her, not even a welcoming gesture and help.
