Disappointing Stay Despite Helpful Staff I had high expectations for this property due to the historic nature of the building, but unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst accommodation of our entire trip through Italy. We stayed in a variety of places—hotels, Airbnbs, agriturismos—and this was by far the most disappointing. The main issue was the bathroom, specifically the hot water supply. As a family of four, having reliable hot water is essential. Sadly, it was completely inconsistent. Sometimes the hot water would stop midway through a shower, and I was the most unlucky one-- never had any hot water at all—despite waiting 10 minutes each time, standing in freezing conditions (it was 12°C that night). It made what should have been a relaxing experience after a long day sightseeing, uncomfortable. The only reason I’m giving any stars at all is because of the wonderful service from Giuseppe and Marco. Giuseppe in particular went out of his way to help us—he found us a nearby parking garage, fixed the Wi-Fi when it wasn’t working, and was always quick to respond to messages. Their support was much appreciated, but unfortunately, even their best efforts couldn’t resolve the ongoing water issues. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but this experience impacted our trip, and I feel it’s important to share for anyone considering this property during the colder seasons. Until the water issues are fully resolved, I can't recommend this place.

La struttura è ben gestita e molto vicina a vari punti di interesse, facilmente raggiungibili senza mezzi. La stanza in cui abbiamo alloggiato era molto carina e pulita, così come l’intera struttura. Il personale è molto cordiale, gentile e disponibile. Ci ha da subito accolto e fornito varie informazioni sui luoghi più interessanti da visitare. Inoltre, è stato molto attento alle nostre esigenze, preparando una colazione con un’attenzione particolare al fatto che ci fosse una persona intollerante al lattosio. La prossima volta che torneremo a Napoli, sicuramente alloggeremo nuovamente qui. Super consigliata!

Ottima soluzione in Napoli nel Rione Sanità, ideale per muoversi a piedi attraversando diversi quartieri che co fanno conoscere Napoli in tutta la sua bellezza verace! Staff particolarmente gentile e collaborativo dall’arrivo alla partenza Atmosfera accogliente e sistemazione confortevole Ci siamo trovati benissimo e la consigliamo sicuramente!

Una storia davvero bella, fatevela raccontare. E comunque il locale è delizioso, pulito e accogliente. I ragazzi sono gentilissimi. Fuori il rione simbolo di Napoli, bello e doloroso. Da vedere. La cooperativa che gestisce il B&B è la stessa che organizza le visite alla catacombe di Napoli, esperienza da fare assolutamente.

Ich war mit meiner 10-jährigen Tochter übers Wochenende in Neapel im Cas del Monacone und kann die Unterkunft nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Die beiden Jungs / Herren der Unterkunft waren immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Einchecken bis 21 Uhr ist auch ein toller Service. Bei uns war es sogar etwas später, aber ohne Probleme möglich. Das Zimmer war genau richtig und sauber. Das Frühstück war ausreichend für uns. Die Cornettos waren ausgezeichnet. Die Lage ist auch sehr "italienisch" - in einem noch nicht so touristisch erschlossenen Viertel Neapels namens Sanitá Rione. Daher - für einen nicht Italiener wie mich - sehr lebhaft am Abend und Nacht ;-) - gerade am Wochenende. Aber das ist der italienische Lebensstil. Die Unterkunft ist auch nicht weit entfernt von einer Metro-Station und dem Archäologischen Nationalmuseum. Und direkt über den Katakomben von San Gaudioso. Ca. 150m entfernt ist auch eine Parkgarage für Personen, die mit dem (Leih)Auto kommen. Zusammenfassend: das Casa del Monacone ist eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft in Neapel :-)

Posto molto bello, facilmente accessibile..la Casa del Monacone contribuisce ad un progetto di rivalutazione del territorio, in una zona, il Rione Sanità, che sta costruendosi una nuova identità. Oltre all'ambiente accogliente e ben organizzato, interessante la filosofia della Cooperativa che lo ha recuperato e che gestisce la struttura, impiegando diverse persone e giovani del Rione. Il personale è gentile e disponibile, molto ben organizzato. Pur essendo in piena città, è molto silenziosa. Raccomandato!
