芝加哥內珀維爾萬豪飯店(Chicago Marriott Naperville)

I thought the location was great. Easy access to 88 and to downtown Naperville and surrounding suburbs. The Staff were very nice, polite, and quick to greet. What I didn't like was that the room didn't come with a fridge, the ice machine on our floor was broken, the drain in the shower barely worked so you stood in a tub full of filthy water while you shower, and the mattress toppers shifted. For over $200 a night, I expected a much better experience. For a 3-star hotel, it offers a 1-star experience. I'm a member of Marriott and this is my third property that has below standard in the last 6-months with others having the A/C out and showers, I'll most likely be moving my business to Hilton moving forward.

We were assigned a room right across from the elevator and on a floor that also hosted a large wedding party. The noise kept us up most of the night. The noise also carried from the floor above. And, who designs a hotel room with a kingsized bed that has outlets only on one side?

I picked the executive suite because the pictures showed a jacuzzi tub and I was specifically looking for that. I was not happy that I booked a $250 room to find out there was only a standing shower. I could’ve booked a much cheaper room for that! We will go to Hotel Arista from now on.

First time at a Marriott, most likely last. Room was very small feeling, bathroom too. Pics of rooms showed seating outside of bed and desk chair, room had none and nearly room between desk and bed for that chair. No mini fridge, had to ask for availability and with 4 weddings and a soccer event, there was never one for the room. Bar drinks a bit expensive, but that was expected. Pool area was nice, but floor was so slippery it wasn’t safe to walk on it felt. Was very clean, and I know it was busy, but overall the room was not expected, and so many basic things were left out of any other hotel room from lesser places (by rating).

Upon checkin they asked for my booking confirmation number. I gave them the number but they were looking for the hotels confirmation number, not *******’s. I couldn’t find the hotels booking number on the ******* receipt. Finally they found my reservation under my name. That was embarrassing. Almost made me think I didn’t actually make the reservation. Next. 5am on Saturday morning the fire alarm goes off. Everyone had to evacuate the building until the fire dept gave the ok to go back in. The fire alarm went off two additional times during that Saturday for a total of 3 times we were evacuated. Horrible and very nerve racking. I had a headache from how loud the alarm is. Next. We left our room about 9:30am saturday morning and came back around 4pm. Our room was not cleaned. For $150 a night I might have to pass on my next staycation from Chicago here.

It was old and needs to be remodeled. It was loud could hear everything in the hall and the room next door. Bathroom was super small and had to take turns getting ready in a King Suite room?? Not the quality I would expect from the Marriott.

There’s nothing like finding bloody towels in your bathroom upon check-in telling the front desk and they don’t even acknowledge it
