納奈莫華美達飯店(Ramada by Wyndham Nanaimo)

the check-in process was very uncomfortable and made me feel unsafe. There was no greeting, no looking up from the computer - even tho we waited until she was done - no words, no smile or anything, just like a ghostly stare right through us. We def felt like we were a bother. I said "Hi, we're checking in" and she said "well, of course" and just stared at us. It was plain creepy. Once the check in process was done, she was done with us, no "you're in room blah-blah: or "the elevators are over there" - tho she did mention what time breakfast was served but not where.

I'm so disappointed in sending our staff there. 2 rooms, 3 guests - and when one guest had to stay an extra day, your front desk was going to charge him $350 !!!! When asked for a better rate he was told they couldn't. A friend of his checked in at the last minute and it was $150. I had to go through ******* to get a rate close to that at $200. Needless to say, we won't be staying htere again.

The number of security cameras on this property made me feel very very nervous and unsafe. I can understand the use and need of these items, but the sheer volume of cameras and unfriendliness of the staff was very very disconcerting. Did I miss a murder or was this just a control freak gone nutty? Won’t stay here again. Too tense.

The rugs are old and need to be replaced, the night time front desk clerk was cold and unwelcoming - slow and rude, the lady working the continental kitchen was awesome kind fast kept the area very clean. There are blinds on the doors to patio that don’t keep the light out in the mornings - it was fine for one night but not long term stays

Staff at check-in was not very helpful and did not even offer to assist with baggage. There was only 1 person at the check-in desk and no other staff in sight. The hotel room had an old musty odor and dated furniture and decor.

My daughter enjoyed the waffles for breakfast. I didn’t like the noisy air exchange fan that you couldn’t turn off in the bathroom. The noise kept us up at night. The walls fogged up when you had a shower in the bathroom.

Most importantly rooms were very clean. Continental breakfast was decent , but could use a variety from day to day Price was good and would stay there again
