舒適花園賓館(Comfort Gardens)

Unep회의장까지 안전하게 걸어다닐 수 있는 거리입니다 빌리지 마켓이 바로 옆에 있습니다. 매일 아침 조식이 다르게 제공되어 색다른 맛을 맛볼 수 있습니다. 첫날 뜨거운 물이 안나오고 드라이어기 고장이었는데 다음날 잘 고쳐주었습니다.

I am sorry to say this, but I was turned off even before I arrived. In the ride to the hotel, the driver (sent by the hotel) passed us a phone because the front desk wanted to speak to us to tell us we would be moved to a "sister property" and then moved to the hotel we actually booked the next morning. Very odd way to handle a "reservation", but I suspect it is not unusual for Kenya, because this happened to other people I know, at other hotels (including the much-ritzier Trademark). When you have been travelling for 24 hours and are tired and stressed about the work you have to do in the following days, this is not what you want to hear. In this case, we adamantly refused and were given the rooms we booked. There was no explanation and no apology. This has never happened to me before, and I found this really unacceptable.

Les sanitaires sont tres etroits, a peine on peut bouger si on y est, le service de chambre sont lents, les employés ne portent pas d'uniformes adéquats, le petit déjeuner est correct, les draps etaient tachetées, la climatisation n'est pas fonctionnel seul un ventilateur en panne qui est a une basse hauteur (touche la tete)

Perfect for our needs, attentive staff, lovely grounds and close to village Market.

Unfortunately, I cannot leave any positive note here, since my stay started with not being picked up from the airport via the arranged hotel taxi. Instead, I was asked by the front desk to pay the taxi fee anyhow. I apologize to the room service and the night watch for the bad rating. Their services are excluded.

It was a nice stay for a short period. I stayed there a few year ago and I could clearly see the decline. If it was not for the location, I would not stay at this venue again. My room was also right on the boundary with the Village Market and the noise of the disco kept me awake until the early hours of the morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but they can only do so much. A good makeover will be advantageous.

I very much recommend the Comfort Gardens Hotel. It has a nice location and is close to my workplace, affordable, and clean. Judy and Cynthia were accommodating especially when you need to book tours, and Ernest was the best driver and tour guide!!!

The hotel location is great -- a lovely quiet neighborhood and easy walking distance to Village Market mall, the Courtyard (a collection of restaurants and shops) and a number of embassies. The hotel itself feels in need of an update but it is clean and tidy and good value for the location. The airport transfer and breakfast were good, and the staff helpful. We enjoyed our stay!

The hotel is really dated. I stayed in the old wing and would not recommend it. Let me start with the good: the location is excellent. 10-15 minutes walk to the UN and right next to the Village Market where you can access multiple restaurants. The staff is very friendly. Now the bad: everything is broken. In my first room, the shower water ran straight into the room due to the crack in the wall. The ceiling fan didn’t work, the TV didn’t work. I moved the rooms. The new room had a terrible configuration where you walk into the shower first and then assess the sink and the toilet through the shower. So every morning after taking a shower, I had to walk through the wet shower floor to access the mirror over the sink to put on the makeup, comb my hair, etc. I slipped and almost fell multiple times. To make matters worse, the door between the shower and the rest of the bathroom didn’t close well and the entire bathroom was flooded. The door between the showers and the room didn’t close well either. The water in the shower was constantly turning from boiling hot to iced cold so taking a shower was close to impossible. The ceiling fan didn’t work. The desk lamp didn’t work. The TV had only 3 working channels. I could not move the rooms again as the hotel was allegedly full
