This was my third stay in the hotel, and I came back based on my excellent experience last time(" review " Exquisite hotel, November 2022). The suite room offered to me, 3rd floor, 301, reeked of cigarette smell immediately as we checked in. Fortunately another suite right opposite to this was available which was main road facing(303). The older one is a backside room, and quiet. The road facing suites are stylish but compact. Beds are soft, extra bed was good too. Clean linen. Bathroom neat and clean with adequate toiletries. But absolutely no sound insulation. So, one is at the mercy of speeding vehicles and blaring noise of horns day in and day out although these are the only rooms that have views. The ***agement needs to work on sound proofing raod facing rooms. Breakfast is quite limited and tasteless. More varieties should do a world of good to the hotel. The reception is matter of fact. No one greets you on their own. You aren't even asked to sit when you talk to the front office staff. You have to take the lead. As compared, house keeping is efficient, smiling and courteous. In-room dining was very good. So was Bablu da dhaba, the rooftop restaurant. Our driver was provided space in the lobby to sleep in tej night, a great gesture. Another plus point of the hotel is it accepts reservation on phone which suits me well.
