Jal Mahal is located on the outskirts of Mysore but not too far from any of the attractions. They have started to charge a hefty 5,000/- if you use DSLR to take pics inside the resort. That's a bummer when you get to stay in a resort and not capture pics from your camera. Service is excellent and the staff is really supportive, quick and helpful. The rooms are not spacious enough but sufficient enough for a couple to enjoy their stay. The resort is good for a small peaceful walk, it has a good ambiance and I love it. This is the second time I am staying here in the last 3 years.

I stayed at this hotel for one day — checked in on the 24th May and checked out on the 25th. The room was untidy, and the toilet didn’t have a lock. There were no dress hangers in the bathroom either. I also used the swimming pool, but it was not clean. After using it, I developed rashes and skin irritation. Moreover, the staff’s behaviour was very annoying and irritating. Overall, I am totally unsatisfied with my stay and would not recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay at Jal Mahal Resort & Spa, Mysuru. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the staff was very courteous. The food was amazing, especially the Dosa at their Mysuru Café, which was a real treat! Lovely property and peaceful location. Will definitely return for a leisure trip.

there were monkeys in the pool. No beer or breezer in stock and not even a biscuit to go with tea. The staff is totally careless.

I had the worst experience of my life here. Very poor service. The staffs are rude and not helpful. They don't know what is hospitality. For basic things like drinking water, you have to ask for multiple times

The property is very well-maintained, with excellent facilities including a swimming pool, outdoor games, and indoor games. Everything was in good condition and added to the overall experience.
The only downside was the restaurant service, which was quite slow—each order took at least an hour to arrive. The food quality was also just average.
Complimentary breakfast was excellent in taste as well as wide variety of items were available.
Despite that, it's still a very nice place to stay and enjoy a relaxing time.

Very good stay with excellent ambience and friendly staff. From check in till check out all the process was smooth. One suggestion though food quantity was less.
