Une nuit en novembre 2024 avec un tour opérateur. Chambre 2001 (une suite). Bel hôtel calme, confortable et propre aux standards européens. Literie correcte. Climatisation fonctionnelle. Nombreux petits problèmes non professionnels. Par exemple, nombreux codes Wifi non fonctionnels, dîner non ouvert à l'heure (1/4 heure de retard pour le salé et 1/2 heure pour le sucré), pas de descente de bagages au départ. Un hôtel cependant recommandable pour une halte à Mysore.

Nous avons réservé avec ma fille cet hotel sur les conseils du Mercure qui était complet. Arrivées à l'hotel avec un accueil fort sympathique pour récupérer la clé de la chambre, nous découvrons la Deluxe et une décoration sympa. Cependant première surprise : aucune prise. Obligées de débrancher le frigo pour alimenter téléphone et ordinateur. Même les lampes de chevet sont alimentées par des cables difficilement débranchables. Une chambre d'hotel sans prise en 2024 ?! ... Nous souhaitions diner à l'hotel et nous l'avions choisi car il y avait justement un restaurant. Sur les conseils de la personne à l'accueil qui nous avait indiqué d'y aller à 20h car un groupe de 20 personnes avait réservé le restaurant et ceci pouvait allonger le service, nous nous sommes donc rendues au restaurant à 20h et avons été accueillis par une personne mal aimable qui semblait débordée et qui nous a refoulées en nous disant de revenir plus tard (au moins 30 min) car il ya avait ce groupe de 20 personnes. Nous sommes donc parties à la recherche d'un restaurant à l'extérieur (difficile de part l'endroit de l'hôtel let le peu de choix existant). Mais au moins nous avons trouvé un italien accueillant et aimable. A 2h30 du matin, nous avons été réveillées par des bruits qui ressemblaient à des travaux. Difficile de retrouver le sommeil après 45 min de perturbation. Enfin, le lendemain, lever pour un petit déjeuner normal quant au choix offert. Et pour finir une chambre inondée de fourmis dans la salle de bains et sur le palier. Bref, très déçues de cet hôtel qui au départ se présentait comme une belle surprise et beaucoup de promesses. Beaucoup de points à améliorer afin de répondre à ce que l'on peut attendre en terme de service hotelier.

I liked the rooms but the service was no up to the mark. I am very disappointed with that. There were no coffee or tea sashes , didn't provide wifi to us. And we didn't got the terrace view and the enjoyment of swimming pool. It the responsibility of hotel that the person who is booking rooms in your hotels should get all the amenities and comfort.

The hospitality was great. The food was tasty. Check-in and check-out procedures were simple. The rooms were comfortable and all the amenities were present. Breakfast especially were a treat. A great way to start the day. Will recommend it to anyone who wishes to travel to Mysore.

Very inconsistent rooms at this hotel. We were first assigned a room in the wing to the right of the lift (2nd floor). We'd booked a 'luxury room' - which is supposedly larger than the deluxe rooms they offer. The room we were taken to first was awful, it looked like a beat up, worn down version of what you'll see on the booking sites. Even the flooring was wearing away. There was a musty stench in the room that was exacerbated by switching on the AC. There were table fans all the way down the main corridor. Apparently to dry the carpets which had been washed(?). Was this the source of the mustiness? Perhaps. There was no fridge in the room even though there was space for it. The safe didn't work. When we spoke to reception about this issue they assured us that none of the rooms had a fridge and they would look into the stench. Eventually we were moved to a room on the upper floor to the wing which is to the left of the lift. This was honestly like a different hotel altogether. The room was bright, fresh, furniture looked newer and no smell. Rooms looked like a refurbished version of where we had been before. It was also larger than the earlier room. My suspicion is that they have sets of rooms that are awaiting refurbishment and ones that have been. I also think they sent us to a deluxe room before. Which is code for crap room which has not yet been refurbished. So, if you're planning on staying here - make sure you avoid the left wing on the second floor. It is worse than even those clean 'lodge' type hotels they have in Mysore. Infact those would be a lot better. Food is good. Room service is cheap. Breakfast is ok-ish. Location is Central. Service is friendly but very casual and not 3* and above hotel worthy at all. Their pool is non functional.
