It was dirty. There was a weave on the balcony and inside on hallway. Tvs didnt work right. Windows were dirty. Linins had stains. The pull out couch mattress should’ve been replaced years ago. Not enough towels for a 6 person room. Elevators were dim. View was nice but overall like a cruddy motel.

Pool was 4 ft wide, room was unlocked when we went in. Sink was full of toothpaste spit, toilet paper holder was broken and left there, hair on toilet. Coffee maker in room, but no coffee was there to make. Called to get it cleaned and it took almost 3 hrs for someone to come up. Lazy River was so small, a rude and unfriendly front office staff employee. The only good thing was the view of the ocean.

I highly recommend this hotel. because of its clean and comfortable rooms, top-notch amenities, and attentive staff.

The location is amazing, the pools are great, but this property is far from a resort. After checking in, I was told to talk the concierge, but he was just a guy offering discount tickets to attractions if I sat through a sales pitch for a timeshare. The description of the room was two queen beds that sleeps 4. This room is so small there is no way 4 adults could stay there. The room was 2 queen beds with 2 feet around them. Lastly I set the AC to 68, and the room temperature went from 73 when we checked in and 75 when we checked out. I called the desk after the first day, and someone came up to my room to tell me that the room I was in was sharing a system with the room next door. I would come back to Myrtle Beach, but I wouldn’t stay here again. I guess Bay View is relatively cheap for beachfront by Myrtle Beach standards, so I guess I got what I paid for.

This was my first time staying at the Bay View Resort. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was clean and had a gorgeous view. There were some things in need of repair/updating (carpets, luggage carts). The pool area was fun and the new pool bar was a great spot. The drinks were delicious and the bartender was very friendly and fun. The resort does have off site (about a block away) parking. It is within walking distance of the “*****” and there are several dining options nearby. Overall our stay was great and I would definitely book another stay here.
