赤倉旅館

First, I like the hotel for cleanliness and its big space. We rent 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom. The 2 bedroom has kitchen and dining table, I like the separation of the toilet and the bathroom also. It has onsen and ski room equipment also. The location of the hotel and the ski lift is also very nice, Friendliness of the staff and owner is really great. Definitely will want to comback for another ski trip.

A great place to stay. Very close to the ski lifts, equipment rental and restaurants. There is a convenience store directly across the street. They provided free and easy transfer from Myokokogen train station. We just emailed them our arrival time a few hours beforehand. Rooms are beautiful, modern, great bathrooms, wifi. There is a new kitchenette but we ate out every day. During our stay, Jon (the owner) was super attentive and even drove my wife and son to the local clinic when our son was not feeling well. On the day of departure, they even drove us to the local 7-11 to drop our luggage off to be transported “hands free” using Yamato for deliver to our hotel in Tokyo. The separate male/female onsens are lovely and relaxing. The free washer/dryer area was used a lot by our family. We will be returning.

The Address Akakura is the perfect home base to explore this beautiful area of Nagano. Rooms are large and beautifully appointed with comfortable beds in a quiet setting. The hotel features an onsen, restaurant and cafe that serves delicious food as well. What makes this hotel special is the incredible hospitality we were shown from the moment we entered the door. We felt like family during our entire stay and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I would give The Address Akakura my highest recommendation and we hope to return soon.

Spent two nights at The Address at the beginning of the "green season" as part of our Japan road trip. The management are extremely welcoming and friendly and the accommodation is top-notch. The apartments are spacious with high-quality fittings including very well equipped kitchen (with a welcome basket of nibbles and chocolate) and huge bath as well a very comfy beds - best night's sleep in Japan. The hotel has a cosy bar and luxurious onsite onsen - everything has been renovated to a very high standard. We used the hotel as a base for visiting Obuse and Lake Nojiri, a 15 minute drive away, which has a laid back summer vibe with its boat cruises, boat hire etc and plenty of lakeside restaurants. There were opportunities for golf and water sports in the area too. Thank you for a wonderful stay at The Address - highly recommended!
