If you land at Cochin in the evening, and want to get a third of the way to Munnar (to shorten the journey in the morning), this is an ideal location and a lovely, comfortable hotel. The staff were so helpful, as they kept the kitchen open for us later than usual, because of our late arrival. Rooms were well kept and very comfortable. Breakfast service was almost comedy! Although we ordered from the breakfast menu, it was difficult to be understood, and everything came out wrong - but that was my fault, rather than theirs. My Malayalam is much worse than their English and, because it’s not on the tourist trail, they probably weren’t used to English travellers.
