Disappointing Stay – Overpriced and Overhyped We had high expectations from this hotel based on their website and photos, but unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. We booked a premium room expecting a beautiful view, but the photos were misleading. The only thing visible from our balcony was a giant tree—definitely not the pleasant view we were hoping for. To make things worse, one of the cupboard handles was broken, and there were spiders in the room. I even took a photo of one. Shockingly, my son was bitten by a spider, which we discovered after checking out, when he complained of itching on his leg. The hotel lacks basic facilities. There is no play area, no park, and no swimming pool—which is especially disappointing considering the secluded location far from the main town. They also don’t provide any cab service to the Mall Road, something that other hotels in the same price range usually offer. The food was another letdown. It was tasteless and overpriced. We were served complimentary rice chips that were fried in what seemed like burnt, overused oil—the chips had visible black residues. The breakfast buffet wasn’t any better: the bhatura tasted like it was fried in the same burnt oil, the idli was dry, the eggs were overcooked, and the cheese omelette wasn’t properly cooked. If you’re charging premium prices, the least you can do is use fresh ingredients and cook the food properly. The only positive was the polite and friendly staff. They were helpful and courteous throughout our stay. However, overall, I would not recommend this hotel. You can easily find much better options with superior facilities at the same price in Mussoorie.

Superb property, awesome staff having great ,its overall a superb property,nice peice,having a great view of mountains the best thing is evening view from the property and complementary cake on my friends birthday is a great gesture and impressed me allot

The restaurant had great food with great service. The quality of the resort is also great and all their staff is very kind and helpful. My family and I have been having a fantastic time here with all the amenities, food options, high tea, and overall fun.

Our stay was pleasant here. We were helped a lot by Sanjana, Mohan and Suvedu Das. The rooms were clean and well kept. Getting to the hotel was quite easy. Hi Tea was a pleasant surprise in the gazebo with a great view of the valley. Our dinner was amazing. Will come back again.

The property has stunning views from every corner. The stay was very comfortable and the staff is super courteous. The food is amazing. Rooms are beautifully designed. If you are looking for a secluded property I definitely recommend Justa hollow oak.
