Service was good. Breakfast was little disappointed but the staff rectified it.

The duty manger Mr Husien was very rude! It’s my second stay at the hotel but I’ll never go back to this hotel anymore! He refused my father to come and meet us in our room!!! What the hell is this is!!! Stupid

Stayed at The Shalimar Hotel in the month of February. Great location. The room was well furnished with a very good appeal. Had dinner at Maikada pan Asian meal. Great food. The breakfast was at their restaurant on the top level as their Indian restaurant is under renovation. Though ordered Indian food from room service. Superb. Excellent value for money.

This is definitely not a 4 star hotel as it claims online. Its 2.5-3 star. You would only stay here for the location otherwise there is nothing great about the place. Some staff are good some are not. Breakfast is average - there are about 4-5 dishes changed daily, rest are the same. Cleanliness can be improved esp the phone, kettle, corners, etc.

Very good and comfortable stay. Would recommend this hotel, value for money. Good staff. Attention to detail in the rooms was most appreciated. Lots of food options in the hotel, hence, one doesn’t even need to go out. Will stay again. Thank you.

Had stayed in the hotel for a night had a amazing stay. Excellent team they have here. Starting from there housekeeping to Reception. Supper helpful. Meet Sangram in the lobby who showed me guided me through the city and suggested me small shopping trip down town. Forgot the housekeeping guy's name in the lobby super attentive. Will surely visit again.

We (myself with parents) stayed for one night at Shalimar hotel. Pros: (1) Good cleanliness (2) Spacious bathroom (3) We ordered veg and non veg thali, and found it to be pretty tasty. (4) Courteous staff Cons: (1) Room space is relatively small. (2) No view from window (3) Water pressure from shower was pretty low. Overall, it's a decent average stay, but could be improved to become memorable.

When a guest stays for such a long period of time, it is quite natural to come across hotel employees who make the guests' stay comfortable on a day to day basis. They talk to the guests about their well-being, the places to visit in the city, restaurants and markets to explore and about the life in general. It is for this reason that I would like to make a special mention of attentive,kind and professional employees such as Mr. Pradeep (Restaurant), Mr. Rohit Kumar (House Keeping), Mr. Sharad (Restaurant) and Mr. Sachin (Marketing) for making my stay at “The Shalimar Hotel” a memorable experience. I often stay at The Shalimar hotel and I find the rooms and amenities very comfortable. Staff is also courteous and prompt in service. I like the boutique concept of differently designed rooms. The rooms have fans which give me a choice of feeling cool and not cold if I don't want the AC on. There is a lot of F&B choice at the hotel and you MUST try the bakery ! Overall a comfortable home away from home experience.

Really nice stay. I was in a suite which was based on the lovely town of Pondicherry. I have been to Pondicherry and really love that small town. So this hotel has designed a suite based on this town. Really very well done. The food options in the hotel are multiple and really worth trying. unfortunately did not get a chance to visit the spa due to time shortage. Overall a great stay.

Excellent property, well managed , great team, well maintained, comfortable and ideally suited to the busy city that is Mumbai. Nice restaurants and a bar with the best Indian food available in the city and the ice cream is delicious .. Enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is comfortable and clean. Superb location in South Mumbai. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The SPA offers several massage therapies and the Swedish one was excellent. Must try the butter chicken, kababs at their restaurant and the pistachio ice cream.

On my annual pilgrimage to Mumbai, India’s beating heart, I try to stay at places that have easy access to my favorite restaurants: 15 minutes by Uber to Masque and Bombay Canteen, 5 minutes to Swathi Snacks, 20 minutes to crab Mecca, Trishna. If you can’t snag a room at a relative’s home, opt for the Shalimar Hotel at Kemp’s Corner. It has become my home away from home. Perfect location, friendly staff, warm and comfortable double rooms, sumptuous suites that include complimentary breakfast at Cafe Kalma on the rooftop. Had one too many dirty martinis at Maikada and are too tired to stagger up to the Cafe for tapas at night? Not a problem—room service is available 24/7. My favorites: chilli cheese toast, kathi roll or butter chicken with garlic naan. Finger-lickin’ good.

Had booked a room for my friend who visited Mumbai for the 1st time from London. He was very impressed with the hospitality and exceptional services offered by the Hotel, though it was a last minute booking. Not to forget a special thumbs up to Mr Deepak Varunkar.
