This was a pleasant surprise for a 2 night stay. Modern, very nicely appointed room. Clever use of space including built in charging ports, good lighting, small kitchen with everything you need for short stays. Complimentary tea & coffee making. Good access to complimentary wifi and Netflix etc. And lovely comfortable beds & linen. Beautiful country setting. Outdoor seating overlooking the valley view is a nice touch. We’ve travelled extensively road tripping in New Zealand (6 weeks) and France, Iceland and USA (10weeks) in 2024 and I would say it is probably the cleanest room we have stayed in and for the price, better appointed and more aesthetically pleasing than 90% of the rooms we stayed in. A credit to the hosts! Need to bring your own provisions, alternatively not too far to Balingup Donnybrook or Bridgetown for meals. All attractive places to visit. Very helpful, friendly & informative hosts. Can highly recommend.

This lovely accommodation had my fussy mother, brother, sister-in-law and I raving about all the good points. We all wanted to extend another night, but alas they were all booked out! Where do I start with all the good points? Well, the photos are very accurate. When you settle in, you will find that Brendan was very particular with the vintage theme, whilst complementing it nicely with modern touches. The vintage touches are evident in the colour scheme of the living area as well as a fireplace, decorative cornices and ceiling centrepiece. The modern touches are clearly visible in the kitchen area and bathroom. I don't want to spoil it by detailing all the items that made an impression- some things should be a surprise.
