I booked the room so me, my fiancee, and newborn daughter could get some sleep before traveling back towards Illinois. I had nothing but issues and the clerk at the front counter kept telling me something different about our room not being ready and short staffed when we tried to check in everytime.

When checking in, not only do you have to leave a deposit of $100 in addition to room charge, they make a copy of your license. The clerk neglected to return my license, and at no time did they let me know they had it. I had to drive 30 miles back to retrieve it. The only accommodation offered for my trouble was a 10% discount ($7.23). Property was dirty and front desk staff was ill mannered and unprofessional.

Patrice and Billy went above and beyond to be helpful and polite and respectful. I cannot say enough good things about my stay. Everything we needed was immediately taken care of. Such nice people! I would stay here again any time. Than you again

Our stay was ok and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our particular room the toilet paper holder was about to fall off the wall. When we got there the toilet seat was barely hanging on as well. Not sure why the cleaning person didn't report that stuff. Not many outlets in the room and 1 whole outlet did not work. TV was a little tricky trying to find a channel to watch, the guide they put in the room did not even match what was on the TV. The outside ground were not clean at all and weeds grown up everywhere. The AC worked VERY WELL THOUGH. Although, we probably will not stay there again.

Very nice stay. Easy free parking. Kimberly at the front desk was super friendly during both check in and check out! Rooms are spacious and clean!! Having a mini fridge and microwave is a bonus. And the on-site bar is huge plus has outdoor seating! A+

First off, a special thanks to Isaiah who checked us in on 7/7/24; he was the very helpful, courteous and pleasant!! We couldn’t figure out where our room# was and Isaiah walked all the way out to the other side of the building and helped us find it. The room was updated and very clean !! We would stay here again!!

THE WORST HOTEL EVER! NO DEADBOLTS ON DOORS!! Kim the front desk manager is a real piece of work. Rude, condescending and full of herself. Rewards members are supposed to get a late check out at 2 pm when requested. Nope. Not when Kim is on shift. There is no breakfast at all, and only the “superior” rooms have the tiny coffee maker. The thermostat is set to 66° lowest and malfunctions. The desk chairs are cheap and broken. The lobby is a long distance from the side where the rooms are. I was told by a lo al that they closed this hotel in mid April. I sure hope they did! They let people smoke/vape in and near the rooms.0

The owner is killing it. This place has it all. Clean, comfortable, large and updated rooms. The bars are awesome. On-site food from their restaurant was great. The staff was BEYOND helpful and friendly, and made you feel valued. We will definitely be back in the future. There are only a couple of things that might make it slightly better. 1) Enforce a no smoking policy…the hallways and stairwell were a bit “aromatic” 2) The stairwell and main hallway between the rooms and lobby needed a little spiffing up. There was some trash on the floor that had been there over a day. In summary, if you want to stay in a place that won’t break the bank and clearly is being well maintained, this Red Roof is the place. Kudos to the owner for everything that is going on with this place, because I can tell that they truly care about their business.

VERY nice clean/quiet room. Recently remodeled. Comfy bed & pillows. Plenty of hot water & soft towels. Met the owner (Carl). SUCH a nice guy! It's obvious he's putting $$$ back into the place. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here, again. I don't have a single complaint.
