Excellent Bed and Breakfast hotel with good service. However it's very unfortunate that it is no longer possible to eat à la carte or to have a decent lunch or a decent diner in te hotel. For the rest it is OK.

I was looking for a close place to stay while visiting Eltz Castle. The walk up to the castle was very scenic but difficult in some areas. I wanted to hike to it because I didn't want to bother with crowds of people, so I took more of a leisure way up.
The room was big and spacious and it is situated in a very quiet area in the town. It was nice to get a good nights sleep.

Die Hotel Sewenig befindet sich hervorragend an den Mosel , super Aussicht leider hat starken Nebel ! Der von reception war super freundlich, würde uns sehr herzlich begrüßt und alles erklärte was alles dazu im Hotel gehört !! Gute selbstgemachte Marmelade und Wein und leckeren Tee!! Sehr hilfsbereit welche Ort am besten zu besuchen !!

i have been here for two nights with a group. we had also dinner and breakfast. rooms are clean, confortable, bathrooms very clean, toiletries, staff nice, check in quick. the dinners were very good, tasty, breakfast good also. nice garden. position of the place optimal to visit places like Cochem.

Room was definitely not as advertised, the hotel was quite full and we got "what they had left", view of parking lot, on a floor without elevator access...
