Cooperspur was ok in off season
was ok pictures where better then actual property they did upgrade us for free the rooms were a bit awkward, short shower outdated floor plan and amenities

I just finished a 6 Hour Drive and they wouldn’t let me do an early check-in and told me that I’m lucky that I could check in at 4 PM and that our event was at 5 that we were supposed to go to when we finally got in our room. We had no water. Thanks for the early check-in. Lol I will never go there again advice people not to go up there find a bed-and-Breakfast or stay in the Dalles they did not offer any kind of refund to me for the inconvenience I will tell you please don’t stay there. You would be disappointed. They said they have air conditioning. Air conditioning is in the hallway, not in the room. You have to open your windows to get the air in, very inconvenient. Staff was really rude and snobbish. If they had no stars I would give that!

Das kleine Resort liegt sehr abgelegen, es gibt keine Versorgungsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Die dazugehörige Taverne hat 5 Tage geöffnet und ist recht teuer. Frühstück ist auch nicht optional angeboten. Es gibt Bungalows, kleine Appartments und Motel/Hotelzimmer. Letztere befinden sich in einem Reihenbungalow, ähnlich einem Motel. Zimmer sind groß, aber durch das dunkle Holz und einer fehlenden direkten Fensterfront extrem dunkel. Kühlschrank und Kaffeemaschine sind vorhanden. Auch eine Mikrowelle auf dem Flur, es fehlen allerdings Geschirr und Besteck (außer Kaffeetassen). Im Hotel/Motelabschnitt befinden sich die Arbeits/Lagerräume des Servicepersonals. Daher herrscht auf dem Gang viel Bewegung und Unruhe und Lärm in der Zeit von va. 8.30 bis 16/17 Uhr.
Die Zimmer sind teils renovierungsbedürftig, besonders der Teppichböden, Betten sind aber bequem.
Im Verhältnis war die Unterkunft teuer trotz Nebensaison. Ein „Upgrade“ in eine Appartment oder gar Bungalowkategorie war nur zum vollen Aufpreis möglich. Wir würden die Unterkunft nicht mehr buchen, allein schon wegen des Lichtmangels.

Wonderful place to stay! We were lucky to get an upgrade to a condo which was amazing. Very clean, the staff was top notch, so friendly and inviting. Heather, who was our server for breakfast, was so sweet and offered ideas for things to do. The food was delicious for both breakfast and lunch. Property was so pretty and convenient to hiking trails. We will be back!

Authentic lodge atmosphere. Friendly staff and good food. Convenient to Mount Hood attractions. Just off Hwy 35 making it a good stop between Portland and areas on the east side of Oregon.
