The living room, kitchen, and dining area are all open. The full bathroom has a walk-in shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas range, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher, as well as all the essentials you need to prepare great meals. The living room has contemporary furniture, a couch that has a queen hide-a-bed, and a cozy electric fireplace. There is also a 60-inch flatscreen TV with Netflix and Hulu. There is an enclosed patio that has a Colorado woodsy feel. There are two recliners and amazing views of Pikes Peak! Spend your evenings around the open firepit, reminiscing about old times while making new memories with family and friends. You will find yourself star-gazing the night away. It is a gas firepit, so there's no need to bring firewood! This is a great rental for those who have ever wanted to try out a tiny home! The roads are plowed after 6 inches of snow. You do not need a 4WD or AWD in the summer but be aware that the dirt roads in the neighborhood are bumpy!PetsThis is a pet-friendly listing for pets who qualify. At this time, we only allow dogs in this house. Please message us before booking for our pup policy to see if your dogs qualify. There is an additional fee for bringing a pet to cover the cleaners’ extra time to keep the space fresh for future guests.There is no air conditioning unit here. It is very rare in our county to have one installed in a house (even brand-new builds!).. The nights are cool in the summer, so to cool the house off, you can open all the windows at night, then close them during the day, and you stay cool! Fans are provided to help blow the cool air through the cabin.We are at 9,400 feet in elevation — altitude sickness can occur but you can do things to prevent it and alleviate symptoms including, taking a day to rest when you arrive, drink extra water and stay well hydrated (avoiding alcohol will help).About pets:Pets allowed: dogs less than 50 lbs per pet (limit 2 pets total).About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About events:No events allowed.
