We booked this apar**ent over 8 months ago and was looking forward to our family holiday. We booked a 2 bedroom apar**ent for 2 weeks and they had given us a 3 bedroom apar**ent. We thought that they would have upgraded us and left it at that. After a few days, a staff member came into the apar**ent and asked us why we are using all 3 bedrooms when we have paid only for 2! He summoned us to to the reception as if we had done something wrong. We explained that nothing was communicated to us about using the additional room. The receptionist and the front office manager was so rude to.us. We were interrogated for a.mistake they had done. We asked to speak to the General Manager and he did not have the courage to face us. They asked us to vacate the 3 bedroom apar**ent and to move into a 2 bedroom because they made a mistake allocating the room! We insisted we are going to stay where we are because we have settled in already. They shut one of the bedrooms! It was advertised as a fully functioning kitchen but no kitchen equipment or crockery or cutlery. The apar**ent and overall building is neglected. The day before checking out, I settled the bill as we were leaving early morning. The bill had an additional charge of Rs8000. When I questioned the Front Office Manager, he had no clue about it and said not to worry about it. Next day when we were checking out, we were told of the Rs8000 outstanding amount again and the receptionist did not allow us to leave. There was no handing over from the previous shift! He was trying the get hold of the gront office manager but was not successful. He has to eventually let us go. The location was good and house keeping staff were friendly. The view from the room was also good. That is the only positive thing I could say about our stay. Left Sri Lanka with a bad experience and would never stay in this place.
