There is almost no contact with a live person to check-in or service. One speaks to a person via a phone that is at the locked front door. Three awkward steps up to the room level have no handrails and do not otherwise meet ADA requirements. The door into the room from the outside is more than difficult. I had to kick it in with full force with my upper body. I'm 80 and blind, so this was hard to do. I asked if the door could be fixed and was told "it is the way it is." The king-sized bed leaves little room to walk around in what is a small room. The shower is the size of a phone booth (remember those?). A person larger than I (5'6" @ 140 lbs.), could not use it. Supplied canisters of shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were empty. There is no room service (clean towels, etc.). As I said, I survived the stay but it was uncomfortable and disappointing.
