Our guide stopped here while we were exploring the area. The authentic Sri Lankan food was just what we were hoping for - really fresh and tasty. The service was great and there was a really friendly atmosphere as they were getting back on their feet after Covid. The guide has been stopping by for 20 years and I can see why with the food being so good

We were recommended this restaurant as being well known for excellent, authentic food. The recommendation was spot on,. The food was fresh, delicious and plenty of it. The chef asked us how spicy we like our food before she cooked it and it was wonderful, just as we asked, not too spicy at all. Each dish was explained to us and there was a local dessert but we asked for fresh fruit, which came from the restaurant garden. The people working in the restaurant were so friendly and accommodating, it was a great experience and we will return next year. The wash rooms were clean and well maintained.

We visited this restaurant today, on the recommendation of our guide, its not really a place a tourist would find. Was the best meal we have been served so far on our trip having only eaten in 5 star hotels. Simple and humble surroundings but the rice and curry was superb, too many dishes to remember and cooked and served by a fabulous lady called Nirosha. If in the area this is well worth a visit
