卡爾卡松希特門美居飯店(Mercure Carcassonne la Cite Hotel)

It was a pleasant stay, the hotel was nice , the bed clean , cozy and the corridors smells very good !!! ❤

We enjoyed our weekend in the hotel. Well situated just outside the old town with views of the towers from our room. We loved the pool area. We only ate breakfast in the hotel, but it was plentiful, fresh and set us up for the sightseeing to follow. We were disappointed the shower gel bottle was finished which suggested it had not been checked before we arrived, but this was quickly resolved. Staff were pleasant and patient as I tried out my rusty french!

For those who want to spend their time exploring the walled city, this hotel is a 5-10 minute walk away. Parking is provided in two outdoor lots, but spaces are not monitored for those occupying more than one space and getting a space seems to be a matter of luck. Don’t count on the included parking being available or convenient. There is, however, sufficient room for large delivery trucks to arrive at 0200 to deal with laundry. That happens right outside hotel rooms so be prepared for an interrupted sleep. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. The maintenance and housekeeping staff are friendly, helpful and responsive. The breakfast is a disappoin**ent with few choices, uncomfortable seating, and staff that seems unhappy to be there. Do not eat dinner at the hotel. It is overpriced, with mediocre food and the same uncomfortable chairs and unhappy staff. Front desk staff is inconsistent, with some friendly and helpful and others bordering on rude and hostile. There are better choices, I think.

En plus d’être un très bel hôtel depuis la rénovation , cet hôtel donne aussi envie de venir et revenir pour son personnel très accueillant, efficient et serviable. Lorsqu’ils le peuvent , ils vous attribuent votre chambre préférée , et sont aux petits soins pour que votre séjour soit confortable. de plus merci pour le prêt du fil téléphone que j’avais oublié Je recommande vivement le cassoulet dans le menu , les produits sont frais ! Je ne devrais pas mettre autant de commentaires de satisfaction car j’ai peur de ne plus avoir de chambre pour la prochaine fois, si tout le monde vient à cause de ce commentaire !

Acceuil et conseil à la réception particulièrement chaleureux. Chambre propre et cosy. Proche de la Cité, parking, piscine, etc. Un seul bémol, le service en salle (employés par toujours sympa, très direct et limite trash, et ça suit pas au niveau du service). C'est d'autant plus choquant que tout le reste et bien au dessus du niveau actuel. Excellente adresse malgré tout.
