I needed to run down to Monticello for a couple of days and began looking at overnight options. I found this beautiful inn on Trip Advisor and knew this was where I wanted to stay. Booking was easy with self check-in. The room upstairs was spacious and nicely appointed. An original bathroom with 1920s era fixtures was attached. The old home has been lovingly renovated without the removal of the original patina. Very impressive. No 1870s furnishings but the home still presented well. Ceiling fans and AC made a humid weekend quite bearable. Breakfast came included and was nicely prepared and presented. Plenty of coffee. The host is very friendly and can fill you in on the goings-on around town. I recommend the 1870 Denham Inn to anyone looking to unwind and/or enjoy the town's restaurants and shopping. A true Southern delight.

Highly recommend! The classic bed and breakfast that has thought of everything. Historic, beautifully furnished and Pat had thought of every detail! Comfortable beds and linens, coffee maker and all the comforts of home…even robes and slippers!!! The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. All the breakfasts were outstanding! We will be back!!!

Bravisimo! Everything was awesome from start to finish. The owner is the true heart of this lovely mansion—so warm, welcoming, and full of charm. Every detail reflects care and hospitality. The rooms are beautiful, the ambiance is peaceful, and the entire experience felt special. We felt right at home and completely relaxed. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and heartwarming stay. Will definitely stay again!

Fantastic in everyway! The owner is great and very welcoming. The breakfast is great. The rooms are great. We will definitely book again. Hard to beat the value of 1872 Denhan Inn Bed and Breakfast. This place is not stuffy, but rather enchanting.

The 1872 Denham Inn was lovely in every way. Located in a quiet area of Monticello, it was peaceful and the perfect place for a restful getaway. The room was clean and cozy. The breakfast, delicious. Pat and Trinity were wonderful hosts. We will definitely return for another visit soon.

The pictures online don’t do this home justice. I enjoyed walking around and looking at the beautiful furnishings. The breakfast served was delicious. I was only able to stay one night but I look forward to returning soon. This is the best place to stay in Monticello.
