Hotel bem simpático e agradável, onde tudo é pensado para satisfação do hóspede. This hotel should never be rated 4 stars. 2 stars is more appropriate. Rooms are very run down and maintenance non-existent. The first thing that hits you when you open the door to your room is a pungent mold smell. And after that it’s all downhill: from the cork from a past guest on the floor of the room to the cockroach that greets you in the bathroom next to some lost hair in the dirty-looking shower. Book yourself a solid three-star and avoid this place.

The rooms are comfortable, and although they are not that big, I had plenty of space. The temperature in the room was quite comfortable, so I didn’t even turn the heater on in any day. Breakfast was nice, and the “doce de leite” was incredibly good. The only things that would benefit from improvement would be: restaurant (the food at dinner was not worthy the money at all), availability of cork screw and wine glasses in the room. I wanted to open a wine bottom and the hotel sent someone to open the bottle for me, instead of sending the cork screw…

Faltou um pouco de zelo nas paredes, uma pintura para cobrir riscos. Café da manhã simples, sem muita variedade, mas honesto. Tem um excelente pão e café. Bem localizado, 5 min do Shopping Punta Carretas. No entorno com bastante opções de alimentação.

The hotel staff is great. The rooms are huge but need renovation. My bath tube had problems with water drainage. Taking a shower while the water reached my ankle. Not pleasant. The breakfast is fair enough. But had another issue. I asked for a fried egg and the waitress denied. “No more eggs”. A few minutes later a local guest asked and got it on a plate. As I questioned the double standard there was no understandable answer. Sad experience. At night the street are very dark around the hotel and there are plenty homeless people.
