伊爾託斯科飯店

The check in was easy. We arrived with an assigned parking spot. Short walk to the hotel. The room was clean and modern with an amazing view. Fresh pastries made by the owner. Great location to everything. The next morning a nice breakfast was prepared. We were able to leave are suitcases after checkout to explore the city more. Would stay again for sure.

The architecture and furnishings of this small boutique hotel are beautiful--the common areas felt like we were in a palace. The room and bathroom we stayed in were large and had every convenience that made our stay comfortable. It was quiet, clean, and felt like home. The kitchen was always open to the guests to enjoy a variety of pastries and drinks. A bottle of wine and fresh water was provided in our room. The towels and bath products were lovely. The bed linens were exquisite (who expects that?). There was always candy, fruit, and bar items in the living room. Parking was available, even though it was a climb up to the hotel (we were told we could get a permit to drop off/pick up luggage). Breakfast always delicious, with individually prepared egg dishes available. Dining reservations were made for us. It was a lovely stay. Angelina was a delightful and gracious hostess and made our stay memorable.

A fantastic place! The friendliness, the service, the room in classical style with everything, a luxurious bathroom, beautiful breakfast, location - everything was just perfect! Soggiorno fantastico! Location strepitosa, un palazzo d'epoca molto bello. L'accoglienza che ti fa sentire a casa (si viene subito coccolati con un aperitivo di benvenuto) e la proprietaria molto carina, gentile e super disponibile. Nelle camere sono rimasta stupita anche per la presenza di splendidi accappatoi che solitamente si trovano in altri tipi di strutture. Presente una sala comune con camino dove puoi rilassarti e bere qualcosa ( sono sempre a disposizione cibi e bevande). Nella stessa sala si consuma la colazione: che dire semplicemente meravigliosa. Fornitissima ed oltre al buffet con svariati tipi di alimenti anche menù dove ordinare pietanze calde. Tornerò sicuramente!

We stayed at Il Tosco for five nights in June 2023, and this bed and breakfast far exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the Dante Room which had a postcard picture view of the Tuscan countryside. What a joy it was to wake up to that view each morning! The breakfasts are sumptuous with many baked pastries, made by the owner’s mother, Clori, who is magical in the kitchen. Some mornings we enjoyed pumpkin flan with melted cheese sauce, quail eggs on a muffin, spinach quiche, and even little cups of panna cotta or slivers of cheesecake. We could ask for eggs prepared as we like or a custom omelette. Fresh fruit and juices are plentiful, along with cheeses and salami. Angelina made us cappuccino each morning, and prepared hot water for tea. The kitchen is open at night to all guests if we needed a cup of hot tea or a slice of chocolate tart. Angelina cheerfully made dinner/lunch reservations for us, as restaurants are tiny in Montepulciano. She made restaurant recommendations ( we ate well!), and called taxis for us to take day trips to Pienza and Montefollonico. She did it all with a smile. There are not enough stars to rate this wonderful bed and breakfast. We are already planning our next trip here, and we’ll be bringing friends.

I stayed at Il Tosco with my family and we had an amazing stay. Our room, the superior poliziano, was incredible. The room itself was extremely clean and modern with all the amenities. The bathroom and shower were terrific and the views of the valley from the room were simply spectacular. The breakfast was also so lovely, it was a huge spread with fruits, cheeses, pastries, eggs made to order, smoked salmon, bread. The location of the hotel is also ideal as it is very close to lots of great places to eat, wineries and the parking lot. Lastly, the service we received from the host and staff was top tier. They accommodated us checking in early and worked around our schedule which was so kind of them. We would 100% stay here again when we visit.
